Pics: Karthikeyan SairamTo commemorate India’s 79th Independence Day, a group of 79 women bikers held a patriotic ride in Bengaluru.The riders, all in white outfits with tricolour dupattas, departed from Gandhi Bazaar at 7:30 am and arrived at Lalbagh West Gate by 8:30 am.
They were joined by the public, who followed along carrying a 79-metre flag in celebration.
