TL;DR

  • There are several new Simpsons-themed skins in Fortnite released as part of the Fortnite Simpsons mini-season.
  • The main family members (excluding baby Maggie) all have skins that can be unlocked or purchased in the shop.
  • The other Simpsons characters receiving skins are Moe the bartender, Krusty the Clown and Scratchy the cat.
  • Fortnite characters Fishstick and Peely have received skins that give them a Simpsons makeover.
  • Simpsons skins can only be unlocked via the battle pass or in the in game item shop.

The Fortnite Simpsons mini-season features plenty of engaging new content for Fortnite players and Simpsons fans. This includes new in-game items themed around The Simpsons and a Fortnite Simpsons map that has been completely overhauled to look like Springfield.

As is the case with most of the crossover events in Fortnite, one of the most anticipated parts of the Simpsons collab are the skins. We’re going to be looking at all the Fortnite Simpsons skins that players can obtain during the new Fortnite season themed around The Simpsons. We’ll also look at how you can obtain these skins for yourself.

All Fortnite Simpsons skins

At the time of writing, there are nine Fortnite Simpsons skins available. These skins are either unlocked in the Fortnite Simpsons battle pass or can be purchased in the in-game shop. There are five more skins on top of these nine that can be obtained. However, at the time of writing, they have not been released yet. The Fortnite Simpsons skins are mostly skins of characters from the show, but they also include Fortnite character skins that have been redesigned with the Simpsons art style.

Fortnite Simpsons battle pass skins

Below are the skins that can be earned in the battle pass, as well as the tier at which they are unlocked. The battle pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks, and players can start unlocking the tiers and Simpsons skins by earning XP in games. Every skin (both the shop and battle pass ones) will also include a LEGO minifig version that can be used in the LEGO Fortnite game modes.

Simpsons Skin Battle Pass Tier Tier Number
Marge Simpson Tier 1 Reward 7
Witch Marge Tier 2 Reward 7
Blinky Fishstick Tier 3 Reward 7
Hazardous Blinky Fishstick Tier 4 Reward 7
Ned Flanders Tier 5 Reward 7
Stupid Sexy Flanders Tier 6  Reward 7
Homer Simpsons Tier 7  Reward 7
Evil Homer Bonus Tier 1 Reward 6

Springfield Peely Springfielder Rewards Pass N/A (unlocks on November 11th)

Fortnite Simpsons item shop skins

At the time of writing, the only Fortnite Simpsons skin available in the item shop is Bart Simpson. Bart’s skin by itself can be purchased for 1,500 V-Bucks. Players can also opt for the Bart Simpson bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks. This bundle includes the skin along with the following items:

  • Bart’s Skateboard Back Bling
  • Krusty Alarm Clock Pickaxe
  • Squishee Boarding Emote
  • The Simpsons Main Title Theme Jam Track

The four additional skins coming to the game will likely be released in the in-game shop. However, there is one spot left in the bonus battle pass that could be taken up by one of these skins. The skins confirmed to be appearing are:

  • Lisa Simpson
  • Moe Szyslak (Moe the bartender)
  • Krusty the Clown
  • Scratchy the Cat

If these skins are anything like the Bart skin, they will cost between 1,200 and 1,500 V-Bucks. They are also sure to have additional cosmetics. Lisa will probably have a bundle like Bart, as she is seen emoting with her saxophone in the Fortnite Simpsons crossover trailer. Krusty’s cosmetics have already been confirmed, though it hasn’t been released at the time of writing. His bundle will include:

  • Balloon Animals Pickaxe
  • Stuffed Mr. Teeny Back Bling
  • Lil’ Clown Car emote.

Many fans have been hoping that Moe’s “Dissing Your Fly Girl” dance (a clip of Moe breakdancing from one of the earlier episodes that became a meme of sorts) will be included as an emote when his skin is released, but this is just speculation and wishful thinking at the moment.

In the Fortnite Simpsons intro, the Scratchy skin can be seen wielding a chainsaw. Scratchy uses a chainsaw quite often in the show when trying to eradicate his nemesis Itchy the mouse, so this could be a pickaxe rather than an actual chainsaw weapon. There is bound to be something Itchy related in terms of cosmetics in Scratchy’s bundle too, such as a back bling.

In the promo for the Simpsons Fortnite collaboration, a version of Peely the banana, redesigned to look like Professor Frink from The Simpsons can also be seen. The 3D model is shown in Fortnite’s version of The Simpsons intro, so there is a good chance that this could also be a skin that either appears in the shop or takes up that mystery spot in the battle pass.

How to get Fortnite Simpsons skins

As mentioned above, the only way to get Fortnite Simpsons skins during the Simpsons mini-season is to either purchase the battle pass and make your way through the tiers or buy them in the shop. The battle pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks which isn’t too pricey considering the amount of skins that players can get from it.

You’ll need to play games to start earning XP and progress through the tiers. A quick way to do this is to complete quests during a match, as they offer more XP than usual. Our guide to the Simpsons-themed quests in Fortnite has all the information on how to complete the quests and start racking up that XP.

The shop skins and other Simpsons themed cosmetics can only be purchased with V-Bucks. However, seeing as there are more skins set to be released at the time of writing, it isn’t clear which skins will be in the shop and which one will take up the mystery slot in the battle pass. It also hasn’t been specified how much the unreleased skins will cost, but it’s safe to assume that they will be around the 1,200 to 1,500 V-Bucks mark, as the Bart skin costs 1,500.

Conclusion

That’s everything you need to know about the current and upcoming Fortnite Simpsons skins and how to get them. The Simpsons skins are particularly fun, especially for those who are already fans of the long-running animated show. For 1,000 V-Bucks, you can earn 10 Simpsons-themed skins (though at the time of writing, one of those skins is still a mystery). That’s not a bad price for the amount of skins and other cosmetics you can get. If you are a Simpsons fan, and you know that you will get a lot out of the battle pass and its goodies, it’s definitely worth digging into your V-Bucks wallet to get the pass.
