Technology
Today and tomorrow are Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, which bring discounts on all sorts of tech – here we will focus on just smartphones. It’s almost all Androids, with the sole exception of one iPhone. We’ve organized things into categories, so you can use the links below to jump to the one you care about.
Flagships
Samsung’s Galaxy S25 family, with the exception of the S25+, is on offer. Note that Prime Student members get an extra £100 off at checkout. Also, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has an additional 10% discount at checkout.
Alternative flagships from OnePlus and Xiaomi, including the Poco sub-brand, are on sale too. The OnePlus 13 costs about the same as the small Galaxy S25 – but if you want a smaller device, check out the Xiaomi 15. There’s also the Poco F7 Ultra as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to challenge Samsung’s Ultra to a camera shootout.
Foldables
With other brands not participating, it’s all Samsung Galaxy Z phones. Luckily, Samsung launched both a premium and a more affordable Z Flip this year – although, with the 10% off at checkout for the premium Z Flip7, the FE might not be able to compete.
Mid-rangers
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has an extensive deal – 18% off, £50 off at checkout, freebies valued at £187 (Galaxy Buds3 FE, a magnetic case and Qi2 wireless charger) and 6 months of Gemini Pro (valued at £113).
The Apple iPhone 16e is the one iPhone on sale – it has only one camera, but that’s cool if you ask iPhone Air owners.
Next up, the Poco F7 Pro offers a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the cheap, while the Samsung Galaxy A56 has the Exynos 1580 for the same price. There’s also the Google Pixel 9a with last year’s Tensor G4 and less storage. Or you could have the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro – its chipset is only a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, but you get a 50MP 3x telephoto camera.
Sub-£200
The Samsung Galaxy A36 technically belongs in the mid-range category, but it’s down to £300 sale price with an offer of £200 cashback – that is a better deal than most entry-level phones.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is quite capable with a 6.77” 120Hz 1080p+ OLED display and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera. The 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging is pretty good too.
Finally, the Redmi Note 14 is a 4G phone, but it packs a 108MP main camera – compared to 50MP on the A36 and CMF phones. And it has a comparable 5,500mAh battery with 33W charging too.
