Plenty of “And Just Like That” spoilers are lurking below, FYI.
You can’t tell the story of “Sex and the City” and its revival/sequel “And Just Like That” without spending an inordinate amount of time discussing the fashion. Over the course of the original show’s six seasons, Carrie Bradshaw became a universal style icon. She inspired generations of women to waltz around New York City in tulle dresses, all while carefully dodging potholes in their Manolo Blahnik pumps. Styled by the inimitable Patricia Field, Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) delighted in getting dressed. Her style was quirky, vibrant, romantic: she’d stop by McDonald’s in a pink Oscar de la Renta frock or go wedding-dress shopping with a belt tied around her bare stomach. Throughout the series, as well as in the three “Sex and the City” movies that followed, Field and Parker set trends, launched design careers into the stratosphere, and created an endless stream of iconic looks. The “And Just Like That” outfits aimed to carry on that legacy. As the series comes to an end after season three, fans can’t deny: there were several fashion moments that felt very “Carrie.”

[Carrie Bradshaw] inspired generations of women to waltz around New York City in tulle dresses, all while carefully dodging potholes in their Manolo Blahnik pumps.
With costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago on board, Carrie still enjoyed fashion on “And Just Like That,” but the writers also used it as a mechanism to communicate her state of mind. When she wore a tulle skirt and black headpiece to Big’s funeral in season one, it was to make her late husband proud. Later, as she started to date and feel like herself again, she was back in a Norma Kamali ruched blue dress that fit impeccably well; it’s so quintessentially her that fans dubbed it the “Carrie dress.” Likewise, in the beginning of season three, she stepped out in a quirky Strawberry Shortcake-style hat that had the internet divided, much like that time she almost got married with a bird on her head. The message? Bradshaw is officially back and in her element (we hope). Later, in episode ten, we see mulling over whether she should wear a “special” outfit to accompany her neighbor Duncan Reeves to a party; does the fancy look mean she’s romantically interested in him and they’re, in fact, more than mere writing partners? Ultimately, she wears the special Vivienne Westwood dress with a pair of sparkly pumps that he complimented once.

Fashion is obviously sacred to Bradshaw, but other characters have memorable style moments as well. Miranda Hobbes’s colorful halter dress and Seema Patel’s leopard look from season one could’ve been right at home in the original series. In season two, the characters dressed up to attend the fictitious, “Veiled Beauty”-themed Met Gala: Lisa Todd Wexley in a breathtaking red Valentino gown and Charlotte York Goldenblatt in a bold corset top and skirt.
At times, their looks carry a greater significance. Think of Rock Goldenblatt’s unconventional styling of their Oscar de la Renta dress as they prepared to share their gender identity with their parents in season one. Or Miranda’s uncharacteristically sexy halter jumpsuit as she stepped outside a stale marriage to flirt with Che Diaz at the bar. In season three, Patel’s impossibly chic white fringe dress proved she had no business scouting movie locations all day while Todd Wexley’s quirky, oversize ball necklace is a nod to her penchant for thinking outside the box, a trait that clashes with her unimaginative documentary producers.
Ahead, check out the best “And Just Like That” outfits — and shop the best fashion from season three.

Carrie Bradshaw’s Blue Corset Dress and Trench on “And Just Like That” Season 3, Episode 10
Aquazzura Crystal Lover Sandals ($2,300)
Arguably her best outfit of the series, Carrie Bradshaw’s look for an outing with her neighbor-turned-love-interest Duncan Reeves was the subject of much conversation. She felt guilty wearing a “special” ensemble for the event because that’d surely mean she’s romantically interested in Reeves, which would then validate Miranda Hobbes’s speculation and ex Aiden Shaw’s suspicions.
In the end, she not only went with the “special” Vivienne Westwood satin corset dress layered under a trench coat but she accessorized with the embellished Aquazzura heels that Reeves said he liked. The outfit was basically a love letter to him and he noticed, telling Bradshaw “you clean up good.”
Get The Look: ASTR the Label Wedelia Bustier Midi Dress ($168). Betsey Johnson Clark Slingback Pointed Toe Pump ($119). Zella Trench Coat ($130, originally $190).

Seema Patel’s Sparkly Jumpsuit on “And Just Like That” Season 3, Episode 10
In a sequin Emilio Pucci jumpsuit, Seema Patel met Bradshaw for drinks to discuss their love lives. Patel’s seems to be going rather well now that she’s dating the charming and impossibly patient Adam Gardens.
Get The Look: Bluzat Shimmery Printed Maxi Jumpsuit ($251, originally $418). Trina Turk Asandra Jumpsuit ($74 to rent).

Is a relationship in the future for Carrie Bradshaw and Duncan Reeves? “And Just Like That” fans seem to think so — and they’re interpreting Bradshaw’s latest fashion moment as a major clue. The former columnist was seen meeting up with her friends after (spoiler alert) her breakup with Aidan Shaw wearing an oversize gray cardigan that looked quite similar to one worn by Reeves in Episode 6. Bradshaw is known for wearing her partner’s clothes when dating or in a relationship, wearing Mr. Big’s blazer, for example, back in season one. It will be interesting to see how her friendship with Reeves evolves and if this outfit choice is a sign of things to come.
Get The Look: COS Merino Wool V-Neck Cardigan ($135).

Lisa Todd Wexley’s Red Dress on “And Just Like That” Season 3, Episode 8
Tsantilis ‘Santorini’ Logo Handbag ($329).
Lisa Todd Wexley is struggling with her attraction to her handsome editor Marion Odin — and her clothing choice told a story. She insisted that she was skipping Charlotte’s exhibit opening for a “work thing” and stressed how unimportant it was by pointing out her regular everyday outfit: a red collared dress accessorized with a Donna Karan belt and Tsantilis ‘Santorini’ bag.
Get The Look: Caslon Belted Maxi Shirtdress ($40).

Seema Patel’s Eye Patch on “And Just Like That” Season 3, Episode 7
Seema Patel found herself in an unfortunate situation when she got an eye infection after a lash extension appointment with a new technician. Not too worry — she made the injury look chic with a custom Louis Vuitton eyepatch.
Get The Look: Reiss Cape Sleeve Jersey Dress ($114, originally $295).
:upscale()/2025/07/13/819/n/1922564/b095468be1d3c1ad_sarah-jessica-parker_3.jpg)
Carrie Bradshaw’s Silver Dress on “And Just Like That” Season 3, Episode 7
Carrie Bradshaw hosted Charlotte’s birthday party and shared a drink with neighbor Duncan wearing a silver midi dress with lace sleeves.
Get The Look: Pisarro Nights Sequin & Beaded Cocktail Sheath Dress ($238).

Lisa Todd Wexley and Lucille Highwater’s Handbags on “And Just Like That” Season 3, Episode 6
Fendi Peekaboo ‘I See U’ Satchel in Verde Mela ($2,370, originally $2,495)
Lisa Todd Wexley (LTW) and her late father’s theater director Lucille Highwater told a story with their handbags at their diner meetup: LTW carrying a Fendi Peekaboo tote and Highwater choosing a Michael Kors red logo-print bowler bag that was gifted by Todd Wexley’s father. The contrast seemed to send a message that LTW has a fancy life in New York City that was too important for her to make time to be by her father’s side in his last days.
Get The Look: Michael Kors Quinn Medium Tote ($198)
