Entertainment About the Baahubali: The Epic
The overall earnings of the film in India, as reported by Sacnilk, stand at Rs 30.1 crore. In addition to the domestic figures, the edition was launched to celebrate the franchise’s 10th anniversary and included enhanced visuals and audio. As per trade analysts, it has quickly risen to become one of the top-grossing re-released Indian movies, generating Rs 30 crore in its opening week. Although the figures are remarkable for a re-release, several analysts link the significant decline during weekdays to audience exhaustion and its lengthy duration; the version is said to last approximately 225 minutes. Therefore, on Wednesday, other films such as Thamma and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat outperformed the Prabhas starrer. Certainly, Baahubali and its follow-up have revolutionised Indian cinema and continue to rank among the highest-grossing Indian films ever, both in the local box office and globally.
Thus, the viewers have already watched both segments of the franchise. Consequently, this updated edition, lasting four hours and edited, featuring a few scenes from both segments, might not have captured the audience’s interest significantly. Still, this is a significant amount over the course of 7 days.
