German publisher BBG Entertainment GmbH is ready to launch the highly anticipated Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary Edition on 21st August 2025. It brings the beloved character Rockford back for another round of boulder-busting challenges. Arriving on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Mac, and PlayStation 4 and 5, the game will be available for €19.99/$19.99.
This anniversary release features 180 brand new, creatively designed levels built on a completely redesigned engine. Staying true to its original charm while adding modern polish, the game blends the spirit of the 1980s with fresh mechanics, slick visuals, and inventive gameplay twists. It is a nostalgic journey into the past reimagined for 2025.
At its core, Boulder Dash remains a test of skill and nerve. Players collect enough diamonds in caves filled with dangerous enemies and falling rocks to reach the exit.
