Brad Keselowski lightened the mood in NASCAR’s intensifying charter dispute this week, directing a humorous jab at longtime journalist Bob Pockrass after fresh legal details emerged.
The lighthearted exchange between Keselowski and the veteran reporter cut through the tension surrounding the ongoing charter negotiations between 23XI Racing, Front Row Motorsports (FRM), and NASCAR.
Brad Keselowski Cuts Through Tension With a Perfectly Timed Quip
Late Monday night, NASCAR filed its response opposing a new preliminary injunction request from 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports, who have been pushing back against the sanctioning body over the structure of the charter system.
By Tuesday morning, Pockrass had combed through the legal documents and shared one of the more striking points for fans on X.
According to Pockrass, NASCAR accused 23XI and FRM of mischaracterizing an internal email from during negotiations that allegedly suggested NASCAR had “all the leverage.” In its filing, NASCAR insisted the email was being taken out of context, adding that its approach in negotiations showed collaboration rather than unilateral control.
Breaking the news on X, Pockrass wrote, “NASCAR, in filing, says 23XI/FRM mischaracterize an internal NASCAR email from during charter negotiations that says NASCAR has all the leverage. NASCAR says it chose the path of collaboration with teams that shows they believe they didn’t have all the leverage.”
At this point, Keselowski, the 2012 Cup champion and co-owner of RFK Racing, jumped into the conversation with a cheeky response aimed at Pockrass’s uncanny ability to unearth key details from extensive legal documents.
Bob, where do you find this?!?!

“Bob, where do you find this?!?!” Keselowski wrote on X, instantly drawing reactions from fans who are well aware of the journalist’s reputation as one of the sport’s most tireless information sources.
The exchange quickly gained traction online, with another journalist explaining where they get their information. Keselowski’s comment has now become a lighthearted moment amid what has otherwise been a high-stakes, bitterly contested debate over team charters.
For drivers and owners, the outcome of these disputes will help shape the long-term financial stability of the Cup Series. For the No. 6 driver, however, it was a chance to remind fans that even in tense times, there’s room for humor.
By having a little fun with Pockrass, Keselowski underscored how closely the entire garage is watching the legal wrangling unfold. With NASCAR, 23XI Racing, and FRM locked in a battle over power and leverage, every filing is scrutinized, every word read into, and every update becomes fodder for serious analysis and occasionally a well-timed joke.
