Week 2 of the 2025 preseason is here and the New Orleans Saints are back home in the dome this week. So, let’s jump right in and take a look at some of the Canal Street Chronicles staff’s predictions for this week’s matchup between the Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars.
TINA:
- Tyler Shough gets the start and scores a TD on the first series
- Kendre Miller solidifies himself as RB2, scoring a TD and is the leading rusher for the game.
- Saints win with a last second field goal by Charlie Smyth
NIC:
- RB Velus Jones Jr. eclipses 75+ scrimmage yards to strengthen his case for a roster spot in a crowded position room.
- Rookie DE Fadil Diggs notches a sack for the second consecutive game.
- Whoever starts at QB—whether Spencer Rattler or Tyler Shough—records both a passing and rushing touchdown.
