Exclusive: Rusha & Blizza Take Us Behind the Making of Their New Banger ‘Zaar Zaar’

Entertainment The track also features Neeti Mohan and Farhan Khan, along with lyrics by singer-songwriter Prateeksha Srivastava, and a music video led by actor, model and dancer Elli AvrRam Rusha and Blizza, Farhan Khanin a still from their video “Zaar Zaar.” Photo: Ishtar Music Electronic music duo Rusha & Blizza have slowly built up from their serpentine, seismic tunes to something more pop and accessible over the last year. Their latest single “Zaar Zaar” pushes further in that direction. The Mumbai duo comprising Paurush Kumar aka Rusha and Aman Khare aka Blizza arguably entered a new era after they sold their catalog to major label Universal Music India last year, and “Zaar Zaar” is now out via Ishtar Music—an imprint of music giant Believe. The song assembles pop artist Neeti Mohan, singer-songwriter and hip-hop artist Farhan Khan, along with singer-songwriter Prateeksha Srivastava. The new drop also comes with a music video starring Mumbai-based Swedish actor, dancer, and model Elli AvrRam. The buoyant track leads with Mohan’s Hindi vocals, plus a sampled English rap hook that leads up to Khan’s poetic, R&B-laced verses. The duo tells Rolling Stone India about the project, “Getting Neeti Mohan on board was absolutely perfect. Her tonality and beautiful voice brought the song to life. With Farhan Khan, we were genuinely surprised by how he delivered on the vocals, truly amazing work.” Mohan says that working with the duo was a “fantastic experience.” She says of the project, “Farhan adds zing to the track. Prateeksha has co-written and composed, and I am glad I got to work with such a talented team of musicians.” Khan—who has just released his new album Alif Laila—says he was drawn to the collaboration after gauging whether “my world can genuinely blend with the other artist’s vision.” Drawn to the “soul” of “Zaar Zaar,” it was special for Khan to share space with Mohan (“who I’ve admired for years,” he adds). He says, “I saw it as an opportunity to bring my Urdu poetic rap into a completely different soundscape. Sometimes a song just calls you, and this one did. I’m glad they embraced the poetic rap version I brought in — it felt organic.” What was it like having another project out soon after the concept-driven, distinct Urdu hip-hop and R&B album Alif Laila came out? Khan says, “For me, it was exciting to step out of my own universe for a bit, collaborate with Rusha & Blizza’s sound, and still leave my signature on it.” Rusha & Blizza brought in Srivastava after working together on songs like “Piya Ki Najariya” in 2023 and “Aankh” last year. “With Prateeksha, the process is always very organic. When we collaborate with her, ideas flow effortlessly and naturally,” the duo says. Srivastava adds, “Like most of our songs, this one started on a Zoom call as well. We revised the composition many times, but once it was ready, the lyrics didn’t take much time.” For the video, the duo wanted a “powerful mix of emotion and dance” while also describing it as “intense and artistic.” The duo says, “Believe’s team helped us put together this project, from selecting Elli to Rahul Shetty’s direction and choreography. We’re always chasing that perfect blend of sound and visual art that’s at the core of our vision.” “Zaar Zaar” follows Rusha & Blizza’s pop-powered electronic songs like “Aankh,” with singing star Sunidhi Chauhan, and the fiery “Dhak Dhak” with singer Aanchal Tyagi and rapper Raga, both out in 2024. Earlier this year, the DJ-producer duo also joined the globe-spanning project “Rolla Rolla,” a song featuring rapper French Montana, Punjabi artist Jasmine Sandlas, Arabic star Mohamed Ramadan, and DJ Shadow Dubai. The duo are plotting “a mix of international and domestic projects” in the coming months. Read More

‘Ozzy: No Escape From Now’: 11 Things We Learned From the Film About Osbourne’s Final Years

Entertainment A new documentary pulls back the curtain on the Prince of Darkness’ last chapter, and it’s packed with revelations about everything from his feelings toward Ronnie James Dio to his final wishes On April 24, 2025 — 72 days before Ozzy Osbourne‘s Back to the Beginning farewell concert in Birmingham, England — the Black Sabbath singer sat in his backyard in Los Angeles and wept, convinced there was almost no chance he’d make the show. After a nasty fall in 2019, a cascading series of health crises had left him living in near-constant pain and largely unable to walk. He’d also recently survived a life-threatening bout of sepsis that resulted from a hospital stay for pneumonia. On top of all of that, he had a cracked vertebrae, causing him even more pain, and he was too weak to survive an operation to repair it. “The problem now is getting to England,” he said in a raspy voice, as his wife Sharon sat by with tears dribbling down her face. “It’s fucking soul-destroying. I’ve got to be there. I have to be there. There’s no two ways about it. I have to be there. I’ve been sick now … this is fuckin’ year seven. As I’m getting further into this thing, it’s getting worse. It’s fuckin’ crippling me. I can’t walk. I can’t bend down.… If I’m sitting here and I’m not there, I’m going to be doubly pissed off. This fuckin’ medical thing!” This stunningly intimate moment was captured by director Tania Alexander’s camera crew for the upcoming documentary Ozzy: No Escape From Now, which lands on Paramount+ tonight. It follows Osbourne and his family from 2021 all the way to the triumphant Back to the Beginning show. Along the way, you see Osbourne work with producer Andrew Watt on his 2022 LP, Patient Number 9, assemble a supergroup of metal icons for his 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, spend time with his family, and push his body to the limits as he attempts to recover from his ailments and gain enough strength to perform at Back to the Beginning. (Spoiler alert: He makes the show, plays a triumphant set, and dies just 17 days later. It’ll go down as one of the greatest final acts in rock history.) The documentary is packed with fascinating moments. Here’s a look at 11 things we learned. Ozzy finally took the time to learn about Ronnie James Dio, his original replacement in Black Sabbath. During his convalescence, Ozzy watched a lot of television. He mostly enjoyed programs about murderers, World War II, and Vietnam. Surprisingly, he also viewed a lot of interviews with the late metal singer Ronnie James Dio on YouTube. “It was like, ‘Why are you watching Ronnie?’” Sharon Osbourne says. “He goes, ‘I feel sorry for him. I feel terrible.’ He never really listened to any of those [Black Sabbath] records at all. He never knew Ronnie. The first time he met him was when he tried to stab him at the Rainbow … with a fork. He never really knew the guy and never knew his music. So he feels really bad. So he watches Ronnie James Dio interviews and I’m like, ‘What the fuck are you doing?’” He was initially misdiagnosed after the fall. On Osbourne’s 2018 farewell tour, he developed staph infections on his neck and thumb. He was put in a hospital and given an antibiotic drip. While recovering, he fell walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night. They rushed Ozzy to a chaotic ER and waited a long time to see a doctor, who told them he was merely bruised and should go home. The next day he couldn’t move his arms, and was brought to a different hospital. “They gave him a proper MRI,” says Kelly Osbourne. “And they found he broke his fuckin’ neck. It’s insane to me they let him out of the first hospital.” Osbourne and his family felt the initial surgery to repair his spine made things worse. “I watched my dad go from being able to sit up,” says Kelly, “to, I’m sorry to say this, but I can’t think of anything else, having posture like fuckin’ Gollum.” Sharon eventually canceled the farewell tour after repeatedly postponing the dates, and Ozzy continued to steadily deteriorate. His back pain became all-consuming. “It’s a pain that no matter what you do, it’s always there,” he said. “When you’re in a certain amount of pain, it affects your thought pattern. You can’t enjoy anything.” The Osbourne house in England was robbed while they were at home. It’s unclear when exactly this happened, but Ozzy recalled waking up at 2 a.m. and attempting to tackle the assailant before he escaped out the window. “We didn’t know this, but previously people had been into the house, and they’d gone in through another window while we were away,” Sharon says. “They were coming in just to look at the place. It is really, really horrible. The thing is they came into the bedroom when I was asleep and took the rings from aside the bed. It’s weird thinking you’re asleep and someone is right by you and you don’t wake up. It’s horrible.” The pain was so bad at some points that Ozzy wished for death. “I’m taking antidepressants now since I was getting ready to off myself,” he says. “I’ll go there in my head and then go, ‘What are you fuckn’ talking about?’ Knowing me, I’d be half-dead after setting myself on fire and I wouldn’t die. That’s my luck.” The process of working with Andrew Watt on Patient Number 9 was extremely therapeutic. “[Watt] makes Ozzy forget his situation for a few hours,” says Sharon of the producer, who’s also worked with the Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, and many more. Ozzy agreed. “The making of the album saved my ass,” he said. “I’m the luckiest man in the world to do what I do because people have fuckin’ jobs they have to do and they absolutely hate. I don’t hate

Watch ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Trio Stage Surprise First Performance in ‘SNL’ Sketch

Entertainment Huntr/x — or EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna — appear in sketch where host Bad Bunny proclaims his love for the hit animated movie Saturday Night Live took on the pop culture phenomenon that is KPop Demon Hunters with a sketch that featured a surprise appearance by the three singers behind the animated film’s hit songs.  The sketch revolved around four friends — including host Bad Bunny — discussing the movie while eating brunch at a trendy restaurant. Bad Bunny’s character revealed his love of KPop Demon Hunters, which he watches repeatedly despite not having any kids. “It’s actually not for kids. It’s for smart adults,” Bad Bunny’s Thomas tells his friends. When the conversation drifts toward music, Thomas again proclaims his fondness for KPop Demon Hunters. “In KPop Demon Hunters, songs are not just songs. They are weapons,” he said. “What else is gonna save you from demons, you idiot.” The sketch continues down this path until Bowen Yang shows up uninvited as one of the demons from the film, possessing Sarah Sherman by singing the hit “Soda Pop.” Thankfully, Huntr/x — or EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, who voiced the K-pop trio in the film — are also at the restaurant, vanquishing the demon with their song “Golden.”  The surprise appearance of Huntr/x marked the group’s first-ever performance, albeit in abbreviated form. However, on Tuesday, the trio will stage their first full performance together when they serve as musical guest on The Tonight Show. From Rolling Stone US. Read More

IShowSpeed Rocketed Into His Next Era of Celebrity at L.A. Premiere of ‘Speed Goes Pro’

Entertainment The beloved streamer capped a 35-day live marathon tour of the U.S. with a star-studded screening for his next-level YouTube venture Darren Watkins Jr., far better known as IShowSpeed, has attained a kind of fame that’s hard to wrap your head around. The 20-year-old streamer, named Rolling Stone‘s most influential creator of 2025, doesn’t just have 135 million followers online. He also gets mobbed and chased by fans wherever he goes, from Europe to South America and, most recently, just about every corner of the mainland U.S. In August, Speed embarked on a 35-day tour of 25 states — and the camera was never off, even while he slept. The marathon livestream came to an end on Tuesday night at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where friends, family, and other celebrities came to attend the premiere of his new YouTube series, Speed Goes Pro. On the red carpet (actually green, to fit with the football stadium venue and sports content of the series), a member of Speed’s team tells Rolling Stone that one of the streamer’s favorite movies is The Truman Show. It’s only a halfway apt comparison to Speed’s situation: Unlike Jim Carrey’s unwitting reality show star, Speed is well aware that he’s a household name who shares almost every waking minute of his life with the world — and he thrives off it. Earlier that day, he had been filming around town, going for a spin in a low rider, hanging out with rapper YG, and seeing where admirers had mocked up a star for him on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While he was hyped for the crowds (including some who trailed his car on electric scooters for a chance to appear on his stream), in quieter moments, he yawned and remarked on how tired he was. It’s exhausting to be this much of a public figure, even with stamina like his. Nonetheless, one of the members of his team tells me, Speed recently floated the idea of streaming nonstop for an entire year. After some apparent delays, Speed’s massive tour bus, trailed by a convoy of black SUVs, rolled up to the entrance of the Coliseum, where it was greeted with a rah-rah routine from University of Southern California cheerleaders and a drone filming his big entrance from above. The L.A. youths who had been shadowing and filming Speed through the afternoon found themselves shut out of the event as he prepared to rub elbows with the likes of Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian, who brought a few of her kids. Also in attendance were Olympic gold medal gymnast Suni Lee and WWE wrestler Randy Orton, both guest stars on Speed Goes Pro. Speed himself took to the carpet in a suit and black Yeezys, surrounded by his camera crew, and appeared totally re-energized as he glad-handed with producers and posed for pictures. With all the people he needed to greet, Speed had only a brief moment to speak with Rolling Stone. “I’m very excited to not live on a bus anymore,” he says. “I was sleeping on a couch, and it was very hard, and now I’ll get to go back to my bed.” Asked what the craziest stop on his tour was, he doesn’t skip a beat. “I might have to give it to the Bay,” he says. “And Washington D.C. It was just insane.” The streams from his time in San Francisco, Oakland, and the nation’s capital did indeed feature some of the more frenzied throngs of people screaming his name and reaching out to touch him, held back only by a cadre of burly bodyguards. (Side note: This reporter learned a lesson about trying to riff on a stream after joking that Speed could get in trouble for shouting out the Bay Area while in L.A., which led to comments from viewers such as “bruh was hurt.”) The first two episodes of Speed Goes Pro, a five-part series in which Speed trains with some of the top athletes in the world to see if he has what it takes to make it in their sport, were to be shown at a screen set up at the football field’s 50-yard line, immediately after Speed ended his tour stream. But, true to the chaotic and improvisational nature of his medium, the screening was delayed by about 25 minutes as Speed wrapped things up and attendees were corralled to their seats with buckets of kettle corn and hard Topo Chicos. If it felt a little odd to debut the show in a vast arena that remained mostly empty for the occasion, it was still evocative of Speed’s incredible ambition. Who knows, maybe a year from now he’ll be selling out entire arenas with whatever he cooks up next. The audience — a good number of them from Dick’s Sporting Goods, the sponsor for Speed Goes Pro, as well as a group of contest-winners sitting down front — was certainly amused as they watched Speed talk trash with Tom Brady amid drilling for a matchup in which he would play passing defense against the legendary quarterback. And they cheered when, following a few disappointing 40-yard dashes, he ran his last in just 4.49 seconds, finally living up to his childhood nickname. The second episode, in which Speed tests his talents for gymnastics against Lee, was likewise entertaining, with the streamer trying to perfect a “front full” tumbling technique and a “giant” maneuver on the high bar. While he’s warming up with gymnast Nastia Liukin, another Olympic medalist, she asks about a bandage on his shoulder. “Oh, I got bit by a monkey in Turkey,” Speed explains, as if this were the most natural answer he could possibly give. “So it’s a rabies shot.” Overall, the show does a commendable job of blending Speed’s charisma and sense of mischief with the most structured premise than he’s ever had, rounded out by ESPN-style narration from actor Liev Schreiber. A cocktail reception followed at the top level of the stadium, and partygoers took in views of the city while sipping Speed-themed margaritas that the man himself is still too young to

Audiences complain that the background score in Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1’s Hindi version overpowers dialogues in few scenes; also call out tiny subtitle font

Entertainment The Hindi version of Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 has put up great numbers and earned Rs. 75 crores in its four-day extended weekend. The positive word of mouth resulted in a solid trend and now, it is all set to have a fair run in the cinemas until Diwali. Though audiences are lapping up the film, several cinema managers told Bollywood Hungama that many viewers have complained about the sound quality. Audiences complain that the background score in Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1’s Hindi version overpowers dialogues in few scenes; also call out tiny subtitle font A multiplex official from Mumbai said, “In the beginning scene and also in a few sequences later in the film, the background music is overpowering the dialogues. As a result, the audience is unable to understand what the characters said. Thankfully, it is happening only in a few places. Nevertheless, the makers should have taken care of it.” Another manager from a suburb in Mumbai told us, “Such things are avoidable and the makers should make corrections. Often, moviegoers assume that the cinema has messed up with the sound system, but it’s not our fault.” I’m hearing a lot of complaints about hindi dub being bad from a technical as well as creative point. Some say mixing is bad, dialogs low music loud. If any of you have watched the hindi dub, please share your experience! https://t.co/MXwE448xbm — Shrey Tyagi (@iamshreytyagi) October 3, 2025 He added, “There have been a few complaints in our property and also in other cinemas. In the past, makers have sent updated files with rectifications. I am hoping it happens with this film as well.” The matter is even being discussed on the microblogging website X (formerly Twitter). On the other hand, a few multiplex authorities confirmed that they haven’t come across any complaints. A manager from a prominent multiplex chain said, “I am yet to see the film and as of now, we haven’t received any complaints about the sound, to the best of my knowledge.” Sound mixing of hindi version of #KantaraChapter1 is all over the place. The music and sound design is overpowering the dialogues at many moments and there are no subs. Idk if it’s my theater or issue with the print but pls look into it @hombalefilms @shetty_rishab @_PVRCinemas — Nona Prince (@nonaprinceyt) October 2, 2025 Meanwhile, certain patrons have also expressed reservations about the size of the subtitle font in the scenes of Guliga. Online users have also pointed out the same issue in their complaints. Sachin Prabhu, who saw the film at 8:00 am on the day of its release, said, “I was watching it on a very big screen and yet had to struggle to read the subtitles. Subtitles usually have a certain size, and these were way too tiny. Either they should dub all dialogues in Hindi or increase the font size. This is all the more important in our market, where dubbed versions are preferred by a majority of moviegoers over watching content with subtitles.” What is with the size of the Hindi subtitles in the Hindi dub of #KantaraChapter1 So tiny they are borderline unreadable – this has to be a mistake@shetty_rishab @hombalefilms @gulshandevaiah pic.twitter.com/FlYCFFBqTs — Sanchit V (@Sanchit2214) October 3, 2025 Past experiences In the past, Hombale Films, which produced Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1, also faced sound-related complaints for their 2022 biggie, KGF – Chapter 2. Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report that patrons across the country complained that the Yash-starrer was too loud. The exhibitors reported that they got requests that the volume should be lowered. After the first weekend, the makers sent rectified prints. Then last year, a similar issue was reported with Kanguva (2024). Producer K E Gnanavel Raja told the media a few days after the release, “We have spoken to everyone and asked them to reduce the volume by 2 points. The film is set a thousand years back, and most episodes have massive action sequences. So, I asked the exhibitors to reduce the sound by 2 points, considering the feedback.” Also Read: Riteish Deshmukh praises Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 for stunning VFX and action: “What I watched was nothing short of magic” More Pages: Kantara: A Legend Chapter – 1 Box Office Collection , Kantara: A Legend Chapter – 1 Movie Review BOLLYWOOD NEWS – LIVE UPDATES Catch us for latest Bollywood News, New Bollywood Movies update, Box office collection, New Movies Release , Bollywood News Hindi, Entertainment News, Bollywood Live News Today & Upcoming Movies 2025 and stay updated with latest hindi movies only on Bollywood Hungama. Sharvari to star opposite Ahaan Panday in Ali Abbas Zafar’s untitled action romance: Report

Entertainment Actress Sharvari has joined filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming untitled action romance with Yash Raj Films, where she will star opposite Ahaan Panday. A source close to IANS told the agency, “With Saiyaara creating history at the box office, Ahaan Panday is today the biggest Gen Z male actor of our country. Sharvari was also a part of a Rs. 100 crores blockbuster Munjya.” Sharvari to star opposite Ahaan Panday in Ali Abbas Zafar’s untitled action romance: Report The source further stated, “You have two fantastic actors who have proved that sheer acting talent can pull people to theatres.” According to the source, “This excites big film-makers like Ali Abbas Zafar to make a young film that has romance at its core but is also an action entertainer. After decades, you have debutants and young actors with box office credibility.” The source added that the project feels refreshing and exciting, saying, “Ali has two of the best actors with him now for his vision to create a young action romance that is rooted in its emotions.” The untitled project marks the fifth collaboration between Aditya Chopra and Ali Abbas Zafar, following Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. Another source revealed that Ahaan’s debut film Saiyaara has shattered the misconception that Gen Z audiences no longer visit theatres. “In fact, they came out in hoards to support Saiyaara – a film that spoke to them in their language and emotions. There has been a shift in thinking in Bollywood post the Saiyaara phenomenon. Every top director is excited to make films with young actors and take the punt because the reward can be huge.” The source added, “Look at Saiyaara. Who thought it will be the all-time highest-grossing love story in the history of Indian cinema? No one thought it was possible pre-release. So, expect a lot of shifts happening now with Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, Sharvari in the mix.” “In a love story, it is important that both the boy and the girl stand out and they both look incredibly good on screen.
