Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Reveals He Suffered Four Strokes: ‘This Last One, It Was a Big One’

Entertainment “One of ’em was a mini stroke that happened, and I just lost feeling in my hand. And that was it,” Neil said Vince Neil performing at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center in Las Vegas on Sept. 6 Gabe Ginsberg/Getty Images Before the start of Mötley Crüe’s Las Vegas residency earlier this month, Vince Neil revealed that the band was forced to push the beginning of the run because he had a stroke in December. Well, now, the Mötley frontman has shared that he actually suffered at least four strokes “throughout the years” — and this last one may just have been the worst. “Two of ’em I didn’t even know I had. One of ’em was a mini stroke that happened, and I just lost feeling in my hand. And that was it,” he told Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation. “And I got over that pretty quickly. But then this last one, it was a big one.” Neil said doctors were able to discover that he had suffered the other strokes because they had “scarred right around the same spot” and that there were four scars in his brain due to strokes. The last of the health scares really affected Neil’s mobility, and he was forced to learn to walk again. “My left leg wouldn’t work, and my left arm wouldn’t work. So I had to get help out of bed. I couldn’t push myself up to get myself comfortable in bed. And I had to have help,” he said. “And slowly but surely, the sensation came back in my legs. And I had to learn to walk again. I went from a wheelchair to a walker to a cane to — I can walk now, but for five months it was just off and on, not knowing what’s gonna happen.” He continued: “And the doctor said that I probably wouldn’t be onstage again. And I was, like, ‘No, man. I can’t do that.’ And so I just tried. I worked my butt off to get back in shape to go onstage. And I was really sad to have to cancel those shows, but I just wasn’t ready yet.” Back in March, Neil had shared that the band — which he comprises with Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, and new guitarist John 5 — would push back the residency from March to September over a vocal procedure. “My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can’t wait to return to the stage,” Neil said in a statement at the time. However, the health issue was much more serious. To the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Neil explained that he did physical therapy for months in Nashville before being able to rehearse. While his voice wasn’t affected, “it takes a while to get your brain to start moving your legs, for them to do what your brain wants to do. You try to walk, but it doesn’t come out right,” he explained, adding that he’s around 95 percent back to “where I was before.” Mötley Crüe: The Las Vegas Residency kicked off at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas earlier this month. Metro Boomin Found Not Liable at Civil Sexual-Assault Trial: ‘I’m Blessed. I’m Relieved’

Entertainment Jurors handed hip-hop producer Metro Boomin a decisive win at his civil sexual-assault trial in Los Angeles on Thursday. After only about an hour of deliberation, the panel of five men and three women unanimously found that plaintiff Vanessa LeMaistre had failed to prove her claims that the influential musician, born Leland T. Wayne, had raped her at a Southern California hotel in 2016. Wayne was found not liable on all four causes of action. “I’m blessed. I’m relieved,” Wayne told Rolling Stone as he exited the federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles. “I never thought I would ever have to do anything like that. I’m just relieved. It’s a burden lifted off my back. I’ll just get back to my family and continue to do the great things that I strive to do.” “I’m blessed. I’m relieved,” Metro Boomin tells Rolling Stone after jury finds him not liable at civil sexual assault trial “It’s a burden lifted off my back” pic.twitter.com/XJXZwyA3MF — Nancy Dillon (@Nancy__Dillon) September 25, 2025 LeMaistre declined to comment, but her lead lawyer, Michael J. Willemin, said she will continue pursuing her pending mistrial motions “based on various errors and the admission of certain evidence and the exclusion of certain evidence” during the trial. “We’ll be pursuing both of those motions for a mistrial and eventually an appeal. This is far from the end of this case,” Willemin said. “The evidence wasn’t there,” a male juror said as he left the courthouse. “A lot of it was just testimony or talking about it. There was no substantial ‘This is what happened.’ There were no dates recollected correctly.… She didn’t remember a lot. That was also the issue.” In her lawsuit filed last October, LeMaistre alleged that she “blacked out” after ingesting some Xanax and drinking alcohol given to her by Wayne at a recording-studio session. She claimed she later woke up in a strange hotel room and was drifting in and out of consciousness as Wayne was having sex with her. On the witness stand, Wayne vehemently denied the allegations, saying there was “no way in the world” he assaulted LeMaistre. He said the sex was consensual, and the first time he heard LeMaistre was accusing him of anything was when she brought her lawsuit nine years later. “This whole lawsuit was born out of a drug den in Peru. In the jungle,” Wayne’s defense lawyer, Justin H. Sanders, said in his closing argument. “This case is preposterous.” During the three-day trial, jurors saw a handwritten note that LeMaistre wrote during a 2024 trip to Peru, where she engaged in an extended “Ayahuasca ceremony,” a spiritual ritual involving the ingestion of a psychoactive plant used by indigenous cultures in the Amazon. Titled “Plan Ayahuasca Gave Me,” LeMaistre wrote that she intended to “blow the whistle on Metro Boomin” and publish her “date rape” allegations in a post on social media. “We’re asking for 3.4 million to 3.7 million,” she wrote in her sometimes admittedly illegible handwriting. “P.S. I am a medium.” Sanders said the notes from Peru were “disturbing” and not credible. “She talks to dead people in her mind,” he argued. In his own closing argument, Willemin said his client is the daughter of Haitian immigrants who has suffered “an ungodly amount of trauma in her life.” He said shortly before she met Wayne, she lost her nine-month-old son. She was grieving and not interested in a sexual relationship when she visited Wayne at the studio that night, he said. “She has beliefs that I don’t have, maybe people in this court don’t have. But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t sexually assaulted,” Willemin said. “Some of those beliefs are less than traditional, maybe hard to understand. But the question is, when she [testified], did you believe her? Because if you did, [everything else] is just noise.” LeMaistre testified over two days on Tuesday and Wednesday. She was the only witness called by her side. The writer and self-described “shaman,” who was 30 when she first met a 22-year-old Wayne in Las Vegas in 2016, testified that she spoke about the alleged assault with a mental-health professional she was seeing at a treatment center called Prototypes in the fall of 2016. She later discussed it with professionals again when she called a pair of rape hotlines in 2024, she told jurors. “Having lost my son, and the defendant assaulting me, have been the two, by far, worst things I’ve ever experienced in my life. It has been excruciatingly painful,” LeMaistre testified. “This stole the past nine years of my life. I haven’t been able to have any healthy relationships. I want to get married one day.” Once LeMaistre rested her case, Wayne testified in his own defense, taking the stand as his fellow Atlanta artist Young Thug watched from the gallery. “I’m just here to support him,” Young Thug told Rolling Stone as he walked into the courthouse Wednesday. “He’s a longtime friend.” Wayne, 32, told jurors that he found it “preposterous” that LeMaistre had accused him of raping her without a condom. He testified that they actually had sexual relations on two occasions, and that she clearly consented both times. “I really don’t know where to start. This is crazy. I can’t even believe I’m up here doing this right now,” he said of his testimony. “For her to accuse me of something like this, it’s something I could never fathom. I can’t even say what I think should happen to people who rape people.” Wayne testified that he lost his mother to domestic abuse and believes sexual abusers “should be tortured and killed.” During a fierce cross-examination by Sanders, LeMaistre defended her handwritten notes. Asked where she got the $3.4 million to $3.7 million range that she described, she said those were the numbers “given to me” during the Ayahuasca ceremony. With eight jurors listening intently, LeMaistre said that when she first heard the Wayne-produced song “Rap Saved Me” in 2017, she believed the lyrics were about her. Sunny Leone to star in India’s FIRST AI feature film Kaur vs Kore in dual role

Entertainment In a groundbreaking one-of-a-kind cinematic project, Paparazzi Entertainment Company introduces audiences to India’s first AI-driven feature film, Kaur vs Kore. Headlined by Sunny Leone, the film brings together a unique blend of futuristic storytelling and deep human emotions, with Sunny set to portray a dual role — one as a human superhero and the other as an AI-powered avatar. Sunny Leone to star in India’s FIRST AI feature film Kaur vs Kore in dual role Beyond being a virtual spectacle, Kaur vs Kore is a bold step into the future of cinema, marking a cultural and technological shift in how stories are created and experienced. Paparazzi Entertainment, which has previously built a strong portfolio of AI-generated music videos, advertisements, and short films, now sets its sights on redefining Indian cinema with this ambitious full-length feature film. Sunny Leone, speaking about the project, shared: “Eight years ago we created a character called Kore and shot a short promo using VFX. We realized after creating it we were in little ahead of time for this character to be accepted. The technology was not where it is today, which makes me so excited to create India’s first full AI superhero film. India is always on the forefront of technology and to be a part of creating this film from the ground up is a very proud moment. Cinema is leveling up and in a big way. We are so excited to take technology not only to Indian cinema but to hopefully the world being the leaders in AI tech.” Producer Ajinkya Jadhav, founder of Paparazzi Entertainment Company, expressed: “Sunny Leone’s role in Kaur vs Kore as a superhero in dual avatars blends tradition and futurism — it’s a statement of reinvention, strength, and global appeal. This film is not only breaking new ground for us but also for Indian cinema at large. By creating India’s first full-length AI feature film with a renowned actress, we are opening doors for others and placing India firmly on the global map of AI-led cinema.” Director and Creator Vinil Vasu added: “Kaur vs Kore is not just a film, it’s a cinematic experiment that pushes boundaries. For me, the goal was to prove that AI can be used responsibly to create emotions, drama, and scale that rivals global cinema. This project shows the world that Indian filmmakers are unafraid to innovate and that India can lead the AI cinema movement.” With the power of AI, the film integrates photorealistic visuals, advanced world-building, de-aging technology, and dynamic action sequences — all while maintaining an emotional narrative that resonates deeply with Indian audiences. Sunny Leone’s dual role in Kaur vs Kore not only breaks new ground for her career but also cements India’s position as a pioneer in the AI-led cinematic movement. Salman Khan recalls 7.5-year battle with “Suicide Disease” Trigeminal Neuralgia: “Took 750 mg of painkillers, underwent Gamma Knife surgery for nearly 8 hours”

Entertainment Bollywood superstar Salman Khan made an emotional revelation on Prime Video’s chat show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, where he appeared alongside Aamir Khan. During the candid conversation, the 59-year-old actor spoke about his long struggle with trigeminal neuralgia, a condition often called the “suicide disease” due to the unbearable pain it inflicts. The disclosure moved Kajol to tears. Salman Khan recalls 7.5-year battle with “Suicide Disease” Trigeminal Neuralgia: “Took 750 mg of painkillers, underwent Gamma Knife surgery for nearly 8 hours” Recalling the ordeal, Salman said, “You have to learn to live with it. Many individuals are coping with bypass surgeries, heart issues, and more. When I experienced trigeminal neuralgia, the pain was… You wouldn’t wish that on your worst enemy. I endured it for seven-and-a-half years. The pain would strike every 4-5 minutes. It would come on suddenly, even while I was speaking.” The actor revealed that even simple meals became a challenge: “It would take me about an hour and a half to finish my breakfast, and I would go straight to dinner. For an omelet, since I couldn’t chew it, I had to push through the pain, endure it, just to finish my meal.” Initially, many believed his issue was dental-related. Salman shared, “I was taking around 750 mg of painkillers, and even that didn’t provide relief. They thought it was a dental issue. I was asked when the pain would subside. I replied that it would lessen a bit after having a drink or two, but it would return at longer intervals. That’s when they realized it was a nerve problem.” The actor traced the first instance back to the filming of Partner (2007). “Lara was there. She brushed a strand of hair from my face, and I felt a jolt of pain. I joked, ‘Wow Lara, you’re electrifying!’ That was the moment it began,” he recounted. Speaking about treatment, Salman highlighted how the condition drives many patients to despair: “The highest rate of suicides is among those suffering from this disease. Many people are unaware of it. I chose to speak out because numerous individuals are affected. Nowadays, it is quite treatable. There’s a procedure called Gamma Knife Surgery where they attach screws to your face for nearly 8 hours. I went through this surgery. When I emerged, they informed me that my pain would decrease by 20-30%. But, by the grace of God, it completely vanished.” Salman had first revealed his diagnosis in 2017 during promotions of his film Tubelight in Dubai. Trigeminal neuralgia affects the trigeminal nerve, causing severe facial pain that can be triggered by everyday activities like chewing or brushing teeth. In a separate disclosure earlier this year on The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3, Salman also revealed that he has a brain aneurysm and an arteriovenous malformation (AVM)—serious conditions that require careful monitoring. A brain aneurysm is a bulge in a weakened blood vessel that can lead to a life-threatening hemorrhagic stroke if ruptured. Bigg Boss 19 lands in legal trouble over unauthorised use of ‘Chikni Chameli’ and ‘Dhat Teri Ki’, PPL demands Rs 2 crores: Report

Entertainment The Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss is known for fuelling controversies inside the house. This time, however, the storm has hit its makers. Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL), India’s oldest copyright licensing organisation, has issued a legal notice to the producers of the show, alleging unauthorised use of copyrighted music. Bigg Boss 19 lands in legal trouble over unauthorised use of ‘Chikni Chameli’ and ‘Dhat Teri Ki’, PPL demands Rs 2 crores: Report According to the notice, which is in Mid-Day’s possession, the ongoing 19th season of Bigg Boss featured the songs ‘Chikni Chameli’ from Agneepath (2012) and ‘Dhat Teri Ki’ from Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (2013) in episode 11 that streamed on September 3, 2025. PPL India claims the producers used the tracks without securing a mandatory public performance licence. The notice, dated September 19, was served by advocate Hiten Ajay Wasan on behalf of PPL. It names Endemol Shine India, the production house behind Bigg Boss, along with its directors Thomas Gousset, Nicolas Chazarain, and Deepak Dhar, as responsible parties. A source from the legal team told Mid-Day that both songs are licensed to Sony Music Entertainment India, one of over 450 music labels whose public performance rights are exclusively managed by PPL. The organisation argues that because Endemol Shine India did not obtain the necessary licence under Section 30 of the Copyright Act, 1957, the act constitutes “wilful infringement.” In the notice, PPL has demanded damages worth ₹2 crore, along with the requisite licence fees. The organisation has also issued a cease-and-desist order, barring the producers from using its sound recordings without proper authorisation. The development adds another layer of drama to the long-running reality series, which is currently in its 19th season. The show or its makers are yet to respond publicly to the legal claims.
