It creates a sort of viscous, protective mesh in our digestive system. She explained, “This mesh, created by the fibre, will stay in place for a few hours and prevent glucose molecules coming down from, let’s say, the pasta afterwards from arriving too quickly into our bloodstream. So, it slows down the speed of arrival of glucose in our bloodstream. That’s why we see the smaller glucose spikes.” 2. “The second effect is that fibre first slows down what’s called gastric emptying, which is simply the speed at which food moves from your stomach to your intestine. For Seo Poong (Lee Jun-ho of 2PM), a star chef, cooking is a way to exact revenge on those who wronged him in the past and for Dan Sae-woo (Jung Ryeo-won), a bankrupt heiress, a simple bowl of jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) becomes a turning point that leads her to the “Hungry Wok” restaurant, where she starts rebuilding her life. The restaurant is run by Doo Chil-sung (Jang Hyuk), a former gangster turned entrepreneur, who operates the small Chinese eatery with his loyal gang members. “Hungry Wok” gradually transforms into a refuge where these people become a family, bonding over the joy of cooking and the comfort of sharing meals, as Wok of Love eventually reveals that real fulfillment comes from the simple pleasures of life—a warm bowl of food, a loving gesture, and the beauty of creation. Let’s Eat (2013-2018) The show uses food as a social catalyst, bringing together a group of people living alone in the city, such as Yoon Jin-yi (Yoon So-hee), who loves sharing meals, and that sparks a chain reaction, turning standoffish strangers into close friends, and the mysterious gourmand Goo Dae-young (Yoon Doo-joon), whose obsession with food is revealed through his meticulous food descriptions. Mystic Pop-up Bar (2020) Mystic Pop-up Bar is a food shack as mysterious as a magical place that can heal customers through their dreams. Run by Weol-ju (Hwang Jung-eum), her delicious offerings help customers feel at home, so much so that they confess their secrets and share painful memories. From comforting bowls of guksu (noodles) that evoke memories of childhood to sweet and spicy dakgangjeong (fried chicken) that symbolizes the slow process of healing, every dish serves a purpose. When Chai Met Toast Announce India and World Tour Dates

WCMT—who released their first single “Dreamland” featuring singer-composer Job Kurian in August—will kick off their Joy of Little Things world tour in India with shows in Kochi (Dec. 14, 2025), Bengaluru (Dec. 19), Mumbai (Dec. 20), Pune (Dec. 21), Chennai (Jan. 9, 2026) and Gurugram (Jan. 10, 2026). Tickets will go on sale for the band’s email base on Sept. 11, followed by general sale of tickets starting from Sept. 12, 2025 for their India tour dates, with more details rolling out in the coming weeks. Later in 2026, the band—comprising vocalist Ashwin Gopakumar, guitarist and banjo player Achyuth Jaigopal, keyboardist-producer Palee Francis and drummer-percussionist Pai Sailesh—will head to cities like Dublin and Cork, through England and Scotland, Germany and the Netherlands in August 2026. Entertainment The Journey of ‘Unwritten’ reveals the inspiration behind Bedingfield’s 2004 track and highlights its lasting impact Natasha Bedingfield is celebrating the legacy of her massive track “Unwritten.” Rolling Stone can exclusively premiere The Journey of ‘Unwritten,’ a short-form documentary about Bedingfield’s song, which explores the inspiration behind the 2004 hit and how it came to be. “I don’t know why this song has so much staying power, but I do know it is very honest and seems to keep resonating for so many different types of people,” Bedingfield tells Rolling Stone. “The message of being in charge of your own life and letting go of inhibitions must be an important one for everyone.” The Katie Paul-directed documentary features interviews with fans (including one who has an “Unwritten” tattoo) ahead of a performance at Webster Hall in New York City and clips of Bedingfield’s performances of the song over the years. “A tattoo of your lyrics is such a compliment for a songwriter because it’s permanent. When I write songs I always have hoped to make songs that will be around for a long time,” she says. “The only time I freak out with tattoos is when people shove their arm in my face and ask me to write the words in pen for them to tattoo. That’s too much pressure.” The short doc includes Bedingfield walking around the venue ahead of her performance, discussing her love for singing live, and talking to her team about how she was discouraged from celebrating her big hit when it first released. “My best advice to a new artist is to find some way to keep a tally of how many shows you are doing as there is no way to find out retroactively. Also, you gain nothing by having a knock-on-wood type superstition around celebrating. If anything, saying ‘cheers’ to yourself and those around you is gratitude which is the key to fulfillment,” she adds. Bedingfield explains in the documentary about how she wrote the single for her little brother and was inspired by philosophers who saw the lives of young people as empty pages in a book meant to be filled. The singer-songwriter is set to continue a tour later this month with a show scheduled in São Paulo on Sept. 13, before a string of East Coast shows at the end of September. “There’s nothing better than being in a room with great music; feeling unguarded enough with strangers to dance and sing your heart out,” she says. Twenty One Pilots Sue Temu for Allegedly Selling Counterfeit Merch

Francesco Prandoni/Getty Images Twenty One Pilots have accused Temu of marketing and selling counterfeit merch in a new trademark infringement lawsuit filed against the China-based online retailer.  The suit, obtained by Rolling Stone, is largely filled with screenshots of what appear to be listings on Temu for an array of allegedly fake Twenty One Pilots merch, such as posters, shirts, mugs, and socks. As the suit notes, some of the items available on Temu appear to be identical to items currently for sale on Twenty One Pilots’ website. Others on Temu appear to contain images and other art associated with the band, such as the cover of their 2015 album, Blurryface. The complaint alleges that Twenty One Pilots’ trademarks “have been damaged and put at risk by Temu’s knowing and systematic marketing and sale of counterfeit versions,” which they describe as “confusingly and/or virtually identical to” their own trademarked materials. Temu did not immediately return Rolling Stone’s request for comment. The lawsuit opens with a pointed salvo at Temu, saying the retailer is “widely understood to be one of the most unethical companies operating in today’s global marketplace. Its business practices are believed to pose great threats to individuals, marketplaces, and the environment.”   It goes on to cite a complaint recently filed by the State of Nebraska, which alleges that Temu has “flooded the United States with cheap products” and “fuels a whole host of other harms,” including its alleged sale of copyright-protected materials.  Twenty One Pilots’ lawyers called Temu a “veritable swamp of infringing and otherwise illegal products,” adding that it “manufactures and sells a myriad of items that are counterfeit or blatant copies of [Twenty One Pilots’] artwork, trademarks, and intellectual property.”  Counterfeit merchandise has long been a problem for musicians, with suppliers and artists now contending with new school online retailers and old school bootleggers hawking wares outside of concerts. As Billboard notes, merch suppliers for Benson Boone and Tate McRae recently filed separate lawsuits aiming to crack down on fake items sold outside their shows.
