Watch Awesome Programs in Blippo+ FMV revivalists YACHT, Telefantasy Studios, Noble Robot, Dustin Mierau, and publisher Panic have announced that Blippo+ will arrive on PC and Nintendo Switch on September 23. Already streaming in 1-bit glory as part of Playdate Season 2, the game will also soon be available as a standalone purchase on Catalog, Playdate’s digital store. Blippo+ is a live-action FMV cable television simulator full of intergalactic programming from the eccentric world of Planet Blip. Players channel surf through soaps, sitcoms, news, weather, and talk shows. Each offers a glimpse into alien culture and TV tropes. As they explore, an intergalactic drama quietly unfolds behind the static, tying together the bizarre broadcasts into something bigger. Its campy, off-the-wall humor and vivid personality have already made it one of Playdate Season 2’s most praised experiences. Now players will get to enjoy it in full color. On a different news, the creative team transformed the historic Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles into an outpost of Planet Blip for a one-night exhibition and celebration. The event took place on 7th August and attracted hundreds of curious visitors. It even drew coverage from the LA Times. Moreover, the event perfectly blended real-world spectacle with the game’s strange, retro-futuristic charm. Planet Blip comes alive through a colorful cast, elaborate costumes, playful makeup, and original music. Even the lore draws inspiration from the fringe of TV history. Its tone nods to pirate television, cable access, public broadcasting, and experimental video art, creating a patchwork of styles that feel both nostalgic and alien. Whether you are into punk energy, new wave style, or pure cosmic weirdness, Blippo+ offers a galaxy of strange and delightful television to explore. SOURCE Read More

Toree Saturn Speeds Onto Switch and Steam

Speed Boosts Awaits in Toree Saturn Siactro has launched Toree Saturn, the latest entry in its 3D platformer series, now available on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Known for its vibrant style and breezy speedruns, this new installment amps up the pace with tighter controls, fresh abilities, and colorful, retro-inspired worlds. Players once again step into the shoes, or rather feathers, of Toree, the round bird sporting sunglasses and a backpack. The goal is simple: dash from point A to point B through linear stages. Players must dodge enemies, collect stars for extra challenge, and chain speed boosts to shave seconds off their run. The game’s core remains approachable. There is no complicated learning curve, as jumping, running, and mastering momentum are all you need. So, start chasing high rankings across a variety of themed stages, each bathed in bright palettes and retro flair. The soundtrack channels late 90s and early Y2K vibes, complementing the fast and cheerful tone. For series veterans, Toree Saturn introduces two new moves: a mid-air ground dash that sends you diving to the ground for an instant speed burst, and a homing boost that targets special stars for extra height and momentum. The art style has also evolved, blending chunky late 90s polygonal charm with the more eccentric visual trends of the early 2000s. Developers streamlined the controls for a smoother experience. They removed the run button, freeing players from holding the trigger continuously, and made most actions rely on the jump button. While the ground dash uses the right trigger or the left mouse button. With its quick runs, playful visuals, and nostalgic tunes, Toree Saturn offers a breezy yet skillful platforming experience that is as fun to watch as it is to master. SOURCE Read More
