Among those projects is Vishakha, the official Telugu remake of the series Aarya that was headlined by Sushmita Sen. Kajal Aggarwal will be seen reprising the role.  While Kajal was not present at the event, she later shared an official statement, expressing her excitement for Vishakha while also recalling her deep connection with south Indian film industries. She noted, “The South industry didn’t just give me work, it gave me a home. What has stayed constant is the honesty and emotion in its stories. It’s wonderful to see JioHotstar creating a space where stories come first and where authenticity, talent, and creativity are truly celebrated.” In Vishakha, Kajal steps into the titular role, a part that demands intensity, emotional depth and transformation at once, as the protagonist  evolves into a fierce protector for her children. The video was reportedly supposed to play before the screening of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, as it hits theatres next week. It has already been circulating online through fan handles ahead of The Odyssey‘s release next year. The leaked sequence shows a group of men dragging the iconic Trojan Horse to Troy city. As they do this, Trojan guards can be seen stabbing their swords into the horse, even as the soldiers in it escape the weapons by a whisker. Legend has it that the soldiers come out of the horse at night to attack Troy and its army. The film stars Matt Damon as the Greek king of Ithaca, namely Odysseus, and chronicles his long and arduous journey home after the Trojan war. The cast also includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Jon Bernthal, Robert Pattinson, and Mia Goth, among others. Production on the film has been wrapped, and it is slated for a July 17, 2026, release in theatres, including IMAX screens. Producer of the original film Jason Blum is producing under his Blumhouse Productions banner. Oren Peli, the director of the original film is also producing the reboot. Tuason has previously directed several short films. He has also directed the feature film, Undertone (2025), a horror film that centres on the story of a woman who tapes paranormal encounters in her home. The film was made on a budget of $15,000 and went on to collect $194 million, making it one of the most profitable films ever.
