Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Remembers Meeting with Three Service Chiefs After Pahalgam Attack

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recalled convening the CDS, the three service chiefs and the Defence Secretary a day after the Pahalgam attack to ask if they were prepared for a military operation. He said the chiefs answered without hesitation that they were ready, and that the government with PM Modi’s approval gave the armed forces a free hand, leading to strikes deep inside the enemy territory.
