General Major attack foiled: Red Fort blast triggered by panic after explosive raids, say top sources

According to top sources speaking to ANI, initial findings suggest that the Red Fort blast was a result of panic and desperation following a series of raids by security agencies across Delhi-NCR and Pulwama. The coordinated operations had led to the recovery of significant quantities of explosives, forcing the suspects to act hastily under pressure. Earlier raids conducted on November 9 and 10, 2025, in Faridabad, Haryana, had uncovered nearly 3,000 kg of explosives, along with detonators, timers, and other bomb-making materials. The explosion was caused by an incomplete and premature device, which limited its impact. Officials confirmed that the blast did not create a crater and no shrapnel or projectiles were found at the site. Sources credited the “pan-India alertness and coordinated crackdown” by security agencies for averting what could have been a major terror attack.
