Dillon Danis’ bitter rival brawls with opponent backstage after suffering upset loss in replacement bout

One of Misfits’ reliable stars has now suffered back-to-back losses in 2025.

On the same night as Andrew Tate’s boxing debut against Chase DeMoor, another controversial star was also set to compete.

Misfits Mania: The Fight Before Christmas was originally announced to be featuring the MMA return of Dillon Danis.

However, his fight was cancelled following Danis’ brawl in the crowd at UFC 322 last month, leading to his scheduled opponent receiving a new matchup.

Do you feel sympathy for Dillon Danis?

This isn’t the first time a Dillon Danis fight has been called off, but it genuinely seems to be not his fault this time. Do you feel any sympathy for him at all>

Anthony Taylor pays the price for mocking his opponent in upset loss

Anthony Taylor was knocked out by Darren Till earlier this year to snap his four-fight win streak in Misfits, where he holds the light heavyweight title.

After Dillon Danis made quick work of Warren Spencer in his Misfits debut, a clash with Taylor made a lot of sense due to their history with one another.

While ‘PrettyBoy’ will have to wait to get his hands on Danis again, he did receive a replacement opponent for December 20 to keep his spot on the card.

India’s Neeraj Goyat has a pro boxing record of 19-4-2 and is signed to Most Valuable Promotions.

Both he and Taylor had moments of success in their six-round bout in Dubai, which went the distance.

They also taunted each other throughout the contest, with Taylor engaging in this a lot in the second half of the fight, despite likely needing to win those rounds in order to get his hand raised.

This proved to be the case after all three scorecards (59-55, 58-56, 60-54) went in Goyat’s favor due to his more consistent output.

Anthony Taylor lashed out at Neeraj Goyat backstage

The intensity between Anthony Taylor and Neeraj Goyat didn’t end after their fight despite both men being respectful to one another after the final bell.

A video captured by EzeTalksSports showed the opponents getting into an altercation where Taylor threw a bottle at the man who just defeated him before they were separated.

It appears that ‘PrettyBoy’ attempted to go over and shake Goyat’s hand, but the Indian fighter’s defiant reaction to the gesture quickly led to an aggressive response.
