Trump claims UFC White House event will have 8-9 title fights included
After announcing the event, White continued to build hype for the event by claiming it will be ‘one-of-a-kind’ and that there will never be another event like it.
Despite that, with it still over six months away, the boss is yet to announce any fights for the card, however, he has stated that he will likely begin to make announcements in February.
President Trump, though, has somewhat lifted the lid on what fans can expect, making a shock revelation that the event will include ‘8-9 title fights’.
“UFC on June 14, it’s gonna be June 14, next year and they’re building an arena, the great Dana White is building an arena and they’re gonna have eight or nine championship fights, the biggest fights they’ve ever had, every one is a championship fight, and every one is a legendary fight,” Trump said this past weekend during Kennedy Center Honors.
“(Dana) is actually holding back fights right now for six months so that he can do it for this UFC 250, it’s gonna be amazing, I think the arena is going to be 5000-6000 seats right in front of the front door of the White House.
“And then 100,000 people in the back where they’re putting up eight or ten very big screens,” Trump continued.
The UFC only has 11 different weight classes, including the female weight classes, as well as the infamous ‘BMF’ title.
The consensus greatest fighter of all time, Jon Jones, wants to make his comeback on the event, but White has continued to claim that he cannot trust Jones to fight on the card. Despite that, it is unclear as of now whether ‘Bones’ return would be for the UFC heavyweight title or not.

UFC legend stated that all titles should be defended on UFC White House event
Just a few months back in an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, UFC legend Bas Rutten made the claim that all titles should be defended on the historic event.
And although it may be unlikely for all titles to be defended on the event, it seems as though most titles will be on the line on June 14, in what is almost guaranteed to be the biggest event ever.
