Etheria: Restart has officially crowned its first global champion. After a weekend of high-stakes strategy and clutch decision-making in Shanghai, Kekker has emerged victorious at the Etheria World Summit (EWS), defeating Han in a tense grand final to take home a whopping $15,000 and serious bragging rights.
Hosted by XD Games, the EWS Invitational marks Etheria’s debut on the offline esports stage, and Kekker’s win sets the bar for future competitors. Matches throughout the event were fought using standardised accounts, putting all focus on tactics and battlefield adaptability rather than collection power.
From 128 contenders around the globe, Kekker stood out through seven rounds of intense bracket play. It wasn’t just about the prize money either. Kekker earnt not only cash, but prestige, and the chance to test his skills against a surprise legendary guest in a special exhibition duel. Han walked away with $7,000 as a well-earned runner-up, while the semi-finalists each took home $4,000.

If you’ve been away from Etheria lately, this tournament is a great excuse to jump back in. The recent update added the new PvE Dreamscape mode, a rotating maze with shifting elemental bosses and high-value rewards. You’ll need dream keys to dive in and nerves to escape alive.
Furthermore, two new characters also joined the roster this month. Fuqiu strengthens allies with turn boosts and healing, while Nahor locks down enemies with control debuffs built for both PvE and PvP. Together, they shake up the meta just in time for the next wave of competition.
