FaZe Clan content creator ‘Kaysan ‘FaZe Kaysan‘ Ghasseminejad has announced he will host a two-versus-two Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 tournament at TwitchCon San Diego.
Taking place on October 18th, 2025, duos representing FaZe Vegas, the Los Angeles Thieves, OpTic Texas, and Team Falcons will compete.
Announced on September 25th, 2025, Kaysan’s Showdown VII LAN event is one of the final Black Ops 6 competitions to take place before the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 14th.
The teams will compete in Search and Destroy matches to determine the best duo, who will walk away with the lion’s share of a $25,000 (~£18,728) prize pool.
Notably, the event is one of the first occasions where two of Team Falcons’ Warzone players will compete against players from the Call of Duty League (CDL).
The TwitchCon San Diego tournament is the eighth instalment of Kaysan’s Showdown. The seventh edition of the tournament took place in April, with four Halo Infinite teams competing for a $50,000 (~£37,459) prize pool.
TwitchCon San Diego marks ten years since its inaugural event. Organised by streaming platform Twitch, the event features some of the world’s biggest content creators along with a variety of esports competitions.
What Esports Events Are At TwitchCon San Diego?
As part of the Twitch Rivals tournament series, several content creators are hosting esports tournaments at TwitchCon San Diego.
Tournaments in Marvel Rivals, Street Fighter, and GeoGuessr, along with Kaysan’s Showdown VII, will take place at the event’s Twitch Rivals stage. Viewers can tune into the action on the TwitchRivals Twitch channel.
In addition to esports, TwitchCon San Diego will host community panels, an expo showcasing the latest games and technology, and a range of interactive workshops.
