Fergie took to Instagram Friday to share rare photos of her son Axl — whom she shares with ex-husband Josh Duhamel — on his birthday. A collection of pics and video clips showed the hitmaker’s son posing with his famous mom, attending a Los Angeles Dodgers game, playing soccer and goofing around.
“Axl Jack, the preteen. 🥹🥹,” the “London Bridge” songstress captioned the post. “I am so proud to see how independent you’re becoming and what a kind human you are.”
She added, “Discovering everything you’re into and watching you grow brings such joy…
I feel so lucky to be your mom.”
“Happy 12th birthday punks! ✌️✌️,” the Black Eyed Peas singer concluded the post.
In the comments section, fans couldn’t resist commenting on how much Fergie’s little rocker had grown. “He’s so handsome. These kids are growing!!!!” one person wrote, while another gushed, “Happy Birthday Axl! Coolest kid ever with the coolest hair!!! 🤟🏽💙”
“You’re turning into such a cool kid and also with the coolest mom ever!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” remarked a third.

The “Where is the Love” hitmaker, 50, was married to the “Off the Grid” actor, 52, from 2009 to 2019. The former couple welcomed their son in 2013.
Duhamel has since moved on with wife Audra Mari, with whom he shares infant son Shepherd Lawrence.
While Fergie’s world clearly revolves around her son, she hasn’t ruled out expanding her family in the future. “You never know. I never say never,” she said during a panel in 2018, according to People.
She added that she was “just trying to be the best Mom for my little Punky Pie — That’s what I call him — He’s my little Punky Pie — I call him Punky, because he loves pumpkin pie!”
In a 2023 interview, Duhamel said co-parenting with Fergie has been a piece of cake.
“We both have the same priority and that’s raising a good son,” Duhamel told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
“We want him to be a good, kind, compassionate, hard-working, thoughtful young man and we both have that common goal with him. And she’s easy to get along with. It’s as simple as that.”
