Rumors of a courthouse wedding started circulating after the singer and her bae, Anthony Wilson, shared and commented on photos of them in their Sunday best! She previously revealed that they’ve been friends for a hot minute, but have been romantically linked since early 2024.

The short answer is fans think so, and the couple provided the wood for the social media fire, chile! On X, she shared photos on her Instagram feed and tagged Wilson in the caption: “Two Hearts. One Love…FOREVER.” In the pictures, she wore a curve-hugging, off-the-shoulder black gown with beige feathers and styled her hair in a half-up, half-down look.
Meanwhile, Anthony Wilson wore a white tuxedo jacket, diamond brooch, black bowtie, and matching black pants. Modern bride and groom looks? That’s the theory fans leaned into, especially after Anthony’s message in the comment section.
“S/O to everyone at the courthouse that got us in and out without a problem,” he wrote with a red heart. Monica responded, “They were amazing.”
Also, in her IG status update, she wrote, “LOVE is in the air.”

Going Strong For Over A Year!
As mentioned, in April 2024, Monica opened up about falling in love with someone she’s known a long time, saying it was “different” and a “new space” for her. She added that she’s enjoying feeling supported and loved in a way that allows her to be “a lot softer.” At the time, she said there were “a lot of firsts” happening for her!
“In my relationship now, I don’t have to take over… I can just be myself, express myself, explain what’s happening in my daily, and he just fixes it,” Monica said. “He can tell you where all of my children are most of the day. He loves to make sure that his relationship with them is intact. Not in a way that seems forced but natural. Whatever it is they love, he goes to that, meets me, meets them where they are.”
Despite opening up about her love life then, Monica has kept the ongoing updates about them on the low. They popped out in photos at the top of this year in matching fur coats. She’s shown him love on the timeline throughout this year, as recently as up to a week before this surprise courthouse drop.
