Game data platform GRID has announced a partnership with AI-powered sports prediction platform Sportstensor.

As a result of the deal, GRID’s range of data spanning several esports titles will power prediction markets.

According to a release, GRID will provide data across Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends and VALORANT, among others, thanks to its existing deals with various game publishers and tournament organisers.

The partnership aims to expand the amount of esports prediction markets on the Sportstensor platform. In addition, the integrity of prediction markets will see improvements, with official and verified data collected from several esports tournaments powering the markets.

“Prediction markets are emerging as one of the fastest-growing frontiers for digital entertainment,” said Dominika Szot, Vice President of Growth at GRID. “Esports, a sport digital by nature, is a natural fit within the ecosystem. Integrity in settlement is critical, and official data provides the foundation to ensure predictions remain fair, transparent, and tamper-proof.”

Prediction markets continue to be an area of growth for various stakeholders within the esports and gambling industries. In September, PrizePicks gained CFTC approval as the platform looks to move into prediction markets.

GRID In 2025

In recent months, GRID has cemented its position as one of the leading esports data platforms in the world. September saw it acquire the assets of B2B esports company Bayes Esports after the company filed for insolvency.

Elsewhere, it continues to expand its partnership portfolio. In April, GRID secured a multi-year deal with ESL FACEIT Group, becoming the exclusive data distributor and integrity partner of its Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 tournaments.

GRID partnering with Sportstensor puts esports at the forefront of a vertical that has yet to discover its full potential. With Polymarket preparing to launch in the United States, prediction markets offer new opportunities for companies looking for alternative ways to offer esports markets on their respective platforms.
