Hunter Lawrence’s Super Consistent 450 Pro Motocross Stats Following His First 450 Win

It was a huge day for Hunter Lawrence on Saturday at the Ironman National. The older Lawrence brother earned his maiden 450 AMA Pro Motocross Championship overall win, and it came with 2-2 finishes. The #96 machine has been second so many times in motos and overalls since he jumped into the premier class in Pro Motocross last summer. But this time, his 2-2 finishes landed him the overall win on a day where his brother Jett suffered a penalty and was docked, and moto one winner Chase Sexton crashed out of moto two.

One cool thing to note that Lars Lindstrom pointed out to Steve Matthes in their post-race interview: All four riders on the Honda HRC Progressive team earned a win this year. Jett Lawrence, Chance Hymas, and Jo Shimoda all three won at least one race in both AMA Supercross and Motocross in 2025 and Hunter Lawrence now has a Pro Motocross win, too. 

(Shoutout to Red Bull KTM, which also has wins from all four of its riders this year.)
