India Provides Five Million Dollars Worth of Vaccines to the Taliban -e Subh Daily

The Taliban’s Ministry of Public Health says that India has assisted this group with vaccines worth five million dollars in various health sectors.

Noor Jalal Jalali, the Taliban’s Minister of Public Health, said in a press conference on Wednesday, December 24, that India has pledged to build a hospital and a specialized thalassemia center worth 500 thousand dollars for this group.

He added that India has assisted with “radiotherapy” machines worth three million dollars for diagnosing cancerous diseases.

In addition, India has assisted the Taliban with cancer medications worth one million dollars.

The Taliban’s health minister also noted that India has pledged to export medicines to Afghanistan’s markets as well.

He made these remarks following his trip to New Delhi and meeting with India’s Minister of Health and Welfare.
