Several Indian airlines have introduced discount schemes to attract travellers ahead of the festival and winter season. The offers cover both domestic and international routes with limited booking windows.

IndiGo has launched its Grand Runway Fest, with domestic fares starting at ₹1,299 and international tickets from ₹4,599. The booking window is open until 21 September 2025, while the travel period is set between 7 January and 31 March 2026. The airline has highlighted destinations such as Dubai, Bangkok, and Singapore in its promotional fares.

Air India Express is running a “Book Direct” campaign, under which passengers booking directly through the airline’s website, mobile app, or airport counters can access discounted fares. The campaign covers its network of 41 domestic and 17 international destinations, including the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Regional carrier FLY91 has waived convenience fees for all bookings made during September. The waiver applies exclusively to bookings through the airline’s official website and is available across its domestic routes.

These schemes are part of airlines’ broader efforts to lock in advance bookings during lean months while preparing for high demand in the year-end and festival travel season.

General International airlines’ discounts for Indian travellers

International carriers are rolling out promotional fares and benefits for passengers flying to and from India, with students and holidaymakers standing to gain the most.

Emirates is currently offering a dedicated student discount. Travellers aged between 16 and 31 can book economy class tickets using the promo code STUDENT to receive an additional 5% discount on fares. The scheme is valid for journeys completed by 30 September 2025. Along with the fare cut, Emirates is extending extra baggage allowance — either 10 kilograms more or one additional piece of luggage — and flexibility on ticket changes. The offer is available across its India network, which connects to Dubai and onward destinations in Europe, North America, and Asia.

British Airways has introduced a seasonal Flight and Holiday Sale. The promotion is open until 30 September 2025, covering routes between India and the United Kingdom. Discounted fares apply to flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad, with travel periods running from 3 August to 29 November 2025 and again between 28 December 2025 and 31 March 2026. The airline has included both economy and premium cabins in the offer, though seats are limited and subject to availability.
