Jake Paul has drafted in some huge heavyweight help ahead of his super fight against former champion Anthony Joshua.

A few weeks ago it was shockingly announced that internet sensation turned boxer Jake Paul would take on former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on December 19.

The news came after his controversially scheduled fight against Gervonta Davis was canceled because of an investigation into recent allegations against ‘Tank’.

And ahead of their clash, the two faced off for the first time last week in the first pre-fight press conference, which showcased the huge size difference between the two.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua rules

  • 10-ounce gloves 🥊

Paul welcomes huge heavyweights into his Anthony Joshua fight camp

Despite the fact that a win for ‘The Problem Child’ would be the biggest upset in the history of boxing, he is being backed to beat the former heavyweight champion by his former rival, Nate Diaz, who has placed a huge bet on the fight.

But for that to happen, his preparation will need to be the best it’s ever been, and to get him ready for the fight, the 28-year-old has welcomed some behemoths into his camp.

One heavyweight Paul has been sparring ahead of the super fight is Jared Anderson, who holds a professional record of 18-1.

In fact, Anderson has been linked to a final IBF heavyweight eliminator fight, with the winner of the fight being the mandatory challenger for pound-for-pound number one, Oleksandr Usyk.

Not only that, but Anderson’s rumored opponent for the eliminator fight, Frank Sanchez, has also been spotted in Paul’s camp ahead of the December 19 show.

British heavyweight champion Lawrence Okolie has also been giving Paul some sparring rounds to help him in preparation.

Could Jake Paul really pull off the upset?

Throughout his boxing career, the controversial figure has continued to receive criticism for his involvement in the sport, but he has somewhat begun to prove himself with his performances.

Which fights and knockouts would you rank in Jake Paul’s top 5 boxing moments? 🥊

With a win over Joshua, it would open up a plethora of opportunities for ‘The Problem Child’, with one likely being a world title fight, which is his final goal in the sport.
