The Minnesota Vikings selected WR Jordan Addison with the 23rd overall pick in 2023 to bring some extra youth to their receiving group.
Over the first two years of his NFL career, Jordan Addison has proven to be a perfect complement to Justin Jefferson in Minnesota’s wide receiver room.
Now, Addison is hoping to make his third season the best one yet, and Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell had some very positive things to say of the receiver on Wednesday during his training camp press conference.

<p>Addison, of course, is awaiting a likely suspension to be handed down after he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in his DUI case stemming from an incident that took place in July 2024.</p>
<p>It seems the star receiver has been hard at work to put the incident behind him, though. </p>
<p>“I thought he had a tremendous offseason program,” O’Connell said Wednesday. “He was basically in there for every rep we asked of him for the eight, nine weeks that we had him. He’s come back in great shape.”</p>
<p>Addison was one of the best rookie receivers in 2023, totaling 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. Despite missing two games with an ankle injury in 2024, he turned in virtually identical numbers the following year with 63 receptions, 875 yards, and nine touchdowns.</p>
