Karmine Corp has delayed the fifth edition of its KCX event to 2026 due to the original dates being in close proximity to the holiday season.

The French esports organisation also reveals the event will use a different format from previous editions.

Announced on November 12th, 2025, the organisation says details on the revised KCX5 event will be revealed in early 2026. Additionally, it revealed that all purchased tickets will be refunded.

Originally set to take place from December 19th to 20th, KCX5 aimed to celebrate Karmine Corp’s fifth anniversary. Moreover, the event was meant to serve as a platform for the organisation to unveil its esports rosters that would compete over the next 12 months.

Launched in 2020, Karmine Corp’s KCX event has continued to grow in popularity with large in-person audiences and strong viewing figures online. The KCX4 event peaked at 174,136 viewers as fans watched the organisation’s League of Legends roster play MAD Lions KOI in a show match.

This year’s event was set to take place at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France.

Karmine Corp In 2025

2025 has proven to be a fruitful year for Karmine Corp across most of its competitive titles and from an operational standpoint.

Its VCT Game Changers roster won EMEA Stage 2, earning enough seeding points to secure qualification for the season-ending VALORANT Game Changers Championship in Seoul, South Korea.

In League of Legends, Karmine Corp is set to field two rosters at the upcoming LEC 2026 Versus event. This is because its academy roster received an invitation to compete due to winning EMEA Masters Summer. The 12-team event kicks off the 2026 season, with the winner qualifying for First Stand 2026.
