Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise Los Angeles Thieves has announced the signings of Kenny ‘Kenny‘ Williams and Tyler ‘aBeZy‘ Pharris to complete its 2026 roster.

ABeZy and Kenny will join the pairing of Paco ‘HyDra‘ Rusiewiez and Thomas ‘Scrap‘ Ernst to compete in the Black Ops 7 season set to begin in early 2026.

The arrival of aBeZy and Kenny follows the departure of Dylan ‘Envoy‘ Hannon and Daniel ‘Ghosty‘ Rothe, who represented the franchise during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 season.

Kenny is no stranger to representing the Los Angeles Thieves in the highest tier of Call of Duty esports. The 2022 and 2024 world champion competed for LA from 2020 until 2023, where he moved to OpTic Texas for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 season.

For aBeZy, joining the Los Angeles Thieves is the first time he has moved teams since October 2019. For the past five years, the two-time world champion represented Atlanta FaZe, which recently rebranded to FaZe Vegas following a relocation to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Los Angeles Thieves In 2025

The 2025 season for the Los Angeles Thieves was one of success and disappointment. After winning back-to-back Majors during the latter stages of the season, the franchise was in contention heading into the CDL Championship 2025 event.

Arriving at Champs as the tournament favourites, many were surprised when the franchise was knocked out in the first elimination round.

Heading into 2026, the franchise has assembled a roster packed full of explosive slaying power and championship-winning experience. With Black Ops 7 containing several new features expected to impact Call of Duty esports, it will be interesting to see if the Los Angeles Thieves can cement its position as one of the CDL’s top franchises once again.
