Kenyon Sadiq NFL Draft Profile: Week 12 Scouting Report for the Oregon Tight End

Kenyon Sadiq is a tight end from Oregon who is ranked No. 17 on my NFL Draft Top 100 Big Board. This comprehensive scouting report analyzes Sadiq’s draft potential, current mock draft trends, and where he ranks among the top prospects.

Kenyon Sadiq’s NFL Draft Potential

Kenyon Sadiq is the early favorite to be TE1 in the 2026 NFL Draft class. In truth, he has been for the entirety of the 2026 NFL Draft, but he’s just now starting to achieve the production to back up his profile. Sadiq has always had the top-flight athleticism. He was listed on Bruce Feldman’s Freaks list with a documented vertical jump of 41.5″, and that springy athleticism shows up in the RAC phase, while his blistering speed becomes all too clear for defenses on seam attacks.

As a route runner, Sadiq can use his foot speed and lateral twitch to offset off-man defenders, then bend around and blaze upfield into blind spots. From there, he excels at tracking the ball and making high-difficulty adjustments in-stride. He doesn’t have the widest catch radius, but his vertical athleticism helps magnify his playmaking reach, and he flashes superb hand technique variation based on situational factors.

There are some elements of Sadiq’s profile that still require projection — for instance, his contested catch ability and ability working against press as a big-slot. But blocking is not one of those elements. While Sadiq is a relatively stout 6’3″ for the TE position, he bulked up to 255 pounds of lean muscle mass this summer, and the returns have shown in the run game. He’s an absolute mauler who relentlessly attacks assignments with natural leverage. His explosiveness and mass combine to form awesome power output at the point of attack, and he has the range to reach landmarks as a puller and lead blocker with ease.

Right away, Sadiq should grant an NFL offense vast alignment flexibility. He can work the seam or the middle of the field as a big-slot, be schemed touches on TE screens and wheels, but he can also contend as an in-line blocker with his compact mass, burst, power, and physicality. In an era where true two-phase TEs with elite receiving upside are worth their weight in gold, Sadiq could see his stock reach unforeseen heights down the stretch if he keeps producing.

CFB Week 9 Update

Sadiq caught just one pass for six yards in Oregon’s Week 9 victory over Wisconsin, but circumstances assisted in limiting his production. Starting QB Dante Moore left the game early due to injury, and rainy conditions limited each team’s passing output. Sadiq was ultimately used more as a blocking weapon, and as has come to be expected, he showed out well there, using his explosive athleticism, natural leverage profile, and physicality to help direct Oregon to a win.

CFB Week 10 Update

Oregon was on a bye in Week 10, but the Ducks will return to action in Week 11 against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Hawkeyes’ passing game won’t stress Oregon’s secondary, but the Ducks will be forced to play fast and physical downhill against the run, and they’ll be tested in the trenches on both sides of the ball by Iowa’s tough, well-coached, and NFL talent-laden fronts.

CFB Week 11 Update

Sadiq was held out of Oregon’s game against Iowa as a precautionary measure, but the hope is that he’ll be back for the Ducks’ season-closing stretch, amid a potential conference championship run.
