
Recognising the challenges faced by transwomen and transmen in securing stable livelihood options, KSWDC’s PCW aims to assist them in transitioning from marginalised income sources to structured and sustainable micro and small businesses.
The Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation Ltd (KSWDC) is strengthening its efforts through the Project Consultancy Wing (PCW) to provide equal access to entrepreneurship for women and the transgender community in the state.
The initiative ensures that aspiring women and transgender entrepreneurs from all 14 districts can access professional business support through online or the nearest KSWDC district office.
Recognising the challenges faced by transwomen and transmen in securing stable livelihood options, PCW aims to assist them in transitioning from marginalised income sources to structured and sustainable micro and small businesses.
The project extends comprehensive consultancy assistance to individuals who wish to start or expand their own ventures. KSWDC will have a panel of specialists equipped to offer guidance on idea development, feasibility studies, legal procedures, project preparation, financial planning and digital branding.

The initiative is built on the principles of inclusion and equal opportunity, ensuring that entrepreneurship becomes a viable and dignified career path for women and members of the transgender community. PCW aims to promote long term economic empowerment and social participation among transgender individuals.
