Sunjay Kapur was the ex-husband of Karisma Kapoor. In a latest interview, the sister of late businessman, spoke about family’s equation with the actress.

Businessman Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12. He died in London while playing a polo match. Reportedly, he suffered a cardiac arrest. Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar that is reportedly valued at 30000 crore. Post his demise, the reports of family feud made headlines. His wife, Priya Sachdev, became the Non-Executive Director of Sona Comstar. His mother Rani Kapur then alleged that she was made to sign documents while she was in a state of mourning. She also alleged conspiracy behind his death. Now, it is his sister Mandhira Kapur who has opened up about the controversy that is termed as ‘family feud’. She also spoke about Karisma Kapoor, the ex-wife of Sunjay Kapur.

Mandhira Kapur calls Karisma Kapoor ‘wonderful mother’
In an interview with NDTV, Mandhira Kapur spoke about Karisma Kapoor and children – Samaira and Kiaan. Mandira appreciated Karisma Kapoor for keeping the family together and called her a very good mother. She was quoted saying, “She is a mother. She is a very good mother, I have to give her that. She has done a very good job of letting the family be one, which is…you know..I commend her for that. I think the kids have been close, and they’ve had a great relationship” and she hoped that the bond remains the same. Mandira also revealed that she is still in touch with Karisma Kapoor and added that she believes that the actress is also in touch with Priya Sachdev. She revealed that the kids visit their grandmother and all of them are in touch with each other. There is no family feud, she asserted.

Mandhira Kapur calls out ‘harsh’ treatment by company against Rani Kapur
In the same interview, Mandhira Kapur opened up about the family suffering from a nightmare as they have been told that they don’t have anything to do with the company. She shared that the company was built by her father and brother, now Rani Kapur is being told that she has nothing to do with the company. She said, “I think it’s a little harsh on my mom to send her this letter saying she has nothing to do with the company she built. She’s 80. How about just respecting the fact that her husband and she made this?”
