Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James had a savage comeback for a fan who was taunting him courtside at a recent game. As James continues to make history in Year 23 with the Lakers, their start to the 2025-2026 NBA season has been impressive, to say the least.
As things stand, the Lakers appear to be one of the best teams in the league at 17-6. Their last matchup against the 76ers was a close game that went down to the wire. When a fan took an opportunity to joke about James’ receding hairline and noticeable loss of hair, the four-time NBA champion responded with a statement, leaving plenty of room for interpretation.
LeBron James Dismisses 76ers Fans With a Subtle Flex
If there is anyone who has earned the right to talk back at fans with an air of pride and accomplishment, it would be James. After all, one can only imagine how many times James has led various teams to victory over the 76ers over the course of two decades.
Since the 76ers have been doing relatively well this season and had a chance to catch the Lakers off guard and steal a win, a fan attempted to get into James’ head by joking about the Lakers star’s hairline.
James heard the taunt and responded with, “You know what I do got though… I got plenty of it.”

Upon hearing this nonchalant response from James, fans who overheard the interaction could not help but clap and cheer in admiration. Although James did not specify what he meant, it could refer to a variety of things.
Some may believe that James was referring to the points he scored. Others could interpret this statement to mean that the Lakers star was flexing his financial success and luxurious lifestyle.
James missed several weeks to start the season due to a sciatica injury, an issue that reportedly still bothers him to some extent. Be that as it may, he was a valuable asset to the Lakers in their win over the 76ers. James recorded 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists against the 76ers, giving him the right to talk trash back at the audience.
In any case, James and the Lakers are unlikely to face off against the 76ers in the postseason. After all, both teams will have to make it all the way to the Finals from their respective conferences to do the same.
While many believe the Lakers have the experience and talent to emerge from the West, questions about the 76ers’ title aspirations with Joel Embiid as their franchise cornerstone have been looming for several years.
