Lindsey Vonn Receives a Heartfelt Message From Billie Jean King As She Celebrates Her 41st Birthday

Lindsey Vonn received a heartfelt message from tennis legend Billie Jean King on the eve of her 41st Birthday. Vonn and King are icons of their respective sports and share a mutual admiration for each other. The latter also expressed her pride after the ski racer announced her comeback to the circuit.

The American alpine ski racer is currently in her training for the upcoming 2025-26 skiing season, scheduled to start in a few weeks.

Days before the start of her second season amid her comeback, Vonn celebrated her 41st birthday, and the birthday wishes flowed for the veteran ski racer. One of the most special among them was the 12-time singles Grand Slam champion, King.

On Vonn’s 41st birthday, King shared a throwback picture of Vonn and her on her social media stories. The former tennis player had also highlighted some of Vonn’s achievements across her skiing career, including winning races in all five skiing disciplines. King wrote:

“Happy Birthday to the 3x Olympic gold medalist, 1 of just 6 women to have won World Cup races in all five disciplines of alpine skiing, one of the greatest skiers of all time and our friend,” King stated in her stories.

In turn, Vonn reposted the story on her handle and thanked the tennis legend for this warming gesture. She wrote: “Thank you legend!!! You’re my inspiration.”

Vonn, 41, will be approaching the 2025-26 season behind a hard-fought last season amid a comeback. She clinched a World Cup podium eventually at Sun Valley, Idaho, in March 2025.

Vonn Penned a Heartfelt Message for Her Pet Dog Days Before the Beginning of the 2025–26 Skiing Season

Vonn shared a warming message for her pet dog, Leo, just a few days after concluding her training sessions for the 2025-26 season. In an Instagram post, Vonn shared a selfie with Leo and highlighted Leo’s strength in going through several menaces, such as cancer. She wrote:

“Made it home to be with my boy Leo for a few days. He’s 13 years old now and his body has started to fail him… but he has been the strongest boy… was hit by a car before I adopted him and just beat cancer. He’s not ready to go yet, thank God 🙏🏻. My boy is a fighter and he is my whole heart ❤️.”

Notably, Vonn’s second dog, Chance, was with her on the road during her sessions in Chile, which she had revealed kept her going.
