MTV MVAs 2025 Winner List: The MTV Video Music Awards 2025 were presented on Sunday night, September 7. Ariana Grande won video of the year. The video for her song “Brighter Days Ahead” received the night’s top accolade. She received a total of three awards. The biggest winner of the night was Lady Gaga, who received four awards, including artist of the year, two days after she had to postpone a Miami gig because of a “extremely strained” voice. She stated in her victory speech that she had to travel to Madison Square Garden, where she was supposed to play on Sunday night, therefore she couldn’t stay for the remainder of the VMAs.

About 90 minutes later, the VMAs showed her performance of “Abracadabra” and “The Dead Dance” from her MSG event.
