On Tuesday night, the New York Knicks played the San Antonio Spurs in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Knicks won by a score of 124-113 to take home their first ever NBA Cup trophy.
Karl-Anthony Towns finished the victory with 16 points, 11 rebounds, one assist and two steals while shooting 6/12 from the field and 2/5 from three-point range in 30 minutes of playing time.

Towns is in his second season playing for the Knicks (after nine with the Minnesota Timberwolves).
He had come into the night with averages of 22.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 24 games.

The Knicks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-7 record in 25 games.
They are in the middle of a six-game winning streak.
Following the NBA Cup, the Knicks will resume regular season action on Thursday night when they visit the Indiana Pacers.
Towns and the Knicks are coming off a season where they reached the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in 25 years.
There is an excellent chance that they can make the 2026 NBA Finals.
As for the Spurs, they will resume play on Thursday night when they host the Washington Wizards in Texas.
