The first movie compiles episodes 1 through 7, with the second movie featuring episodes 8 to 13. Both movies will screen in five theaters for a weekend, with the first movie screening on September 10 and 11, and the second on September 17 and 18.
OLM produced the 13-episode original anime in Spring 2021. Crunchyroll simulcasted the anime with multiple subtitles and dubs. A movie, subtitled In The Woods, opened in Japan in April 2022. Crunchyroll also streamed the movie with multiple subtitles.
Synopsis
Eccentric and blunt, the walrus Hiroshi Odokawa lives a relatively normal life. He drives a taxi for a living, and there he meets several unique individuals: the jobless Taichi Kabasawa who is dead-set on going viral, the mysterious nurse Miho Shirakawa, the struggling comedic duo “Homo Sapiens,” and Dobu, a well-known delinquent.
