Oil from the Andaman basin will help India meet at least 50% of its energy needs: Analyst

Prateek Pandey, Head of APAC Oil and Gas Research, expects that commercial drilling and extraction activities in the Andaman Basin may require up to a decade to materialize. He adds that India is actively engaging with international partners to formalize joint venture agreements to unlock the region’s oil potential.
