This weekend marked the ONE PIECE DAY ’25 event, and it brought plenty of news along with it. One of the surprises was the reveal of a ONE PIECE Heroines anime, which is in the works to adapt the novels written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Sayaka Suwa.
As the title suggests, the novel features short stories based on the women of Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE. The first volume has tales of Nami, Robin, Vivi and Perona, while the second puts the spotlight on the likes of Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju and Uta.
We don’t know the format or release timing, but the event shared some staff info. Haruka Kamatani (ONE PIECE in LOVE) directs, with Takashi Kojima (Flip Flappers) on character designs and Momoka Toyoda (One Piece Fan Letter) on scripts.
