Jake Paul recently revealed the top name on the list of fighters that he wouldn’t step in the ring with.
The controversial star’s decision to fight Anthony Joshua on December 19 has earned him a lot of praise due to the challenge that is in front of him.
Anderson Silva recently praised Paul, who he fought in 2022, when arguing that not enough people give him the respect he deserves for backing up what he says.
Some, including Demetrious Johnson, aren’t ruling out Paul’s chances of producing what would arguably be the biggest upset of all time.
One of boxing’s top stars, who ‘The Problem Child’ named as his favorite fighter to watch, isn’t a part of that camp.

David Benavidez believes that Jake Paul doesn’t realize what he’s in for on December 19
Even if he wins on December 19, Anthony Joshua’s stock could decline if he doesn’t go out there and produce the dominant performance that so many people are expecting.
In that sense, even if this fight comes with serious health concerns, Jake Paul has a lot to gain regardless of whether he gets his hand raised on Saturday night.
Paul recently told ESPN that there is a “very short” list of fighters that he won’t step inside the ring with, seemingly because he doesn’t believe he would benefit from this experience.
The one name that ‘The Problem Child’ specifically mentioned is the undefeated WBC light heavyweight champion, David Benavidez.
While Paul believes he can beat Joshua, he doesn’t see the same outcome against Benavidez, stating, “That guy is different”.
The respect between Paul and Benavidez is mutual, with “The Mexican Monster” recently telling SunSport that he admires the 28-year-old for taking what he believes is “the hardest fight he could have chose”.
However, Benavidez believes that Paul is in over his head on this occasion, claiming that he doesn’t think the star would’ve accepted this bout if he truly knew what he was getting himself into.

Jake Paul believes fighting Anthony Joshua won’t be as difficult as his sparring sessions
Jake Paul’s counter to him not realizing what he’s in for would be that he’s already been preparing himself for this in his tailored training camp.
Sparring larger training partners like Jared Anderson and Lawrence Okolie has been a crucial part of the work that he’s done ahead of December 19.
Paul, who suffered an injury as a result of his sparring, told ESPN that he believes his upcoming fight won’t be as tough as what he’s already experienced in the gym.
“I’ve learned that I have a chin,” Paul said. “I also learned in this camp that I’m very durable, tough and have a lot of heart. I believe the sparring has been tougher than what the fight with Joshua will be.”
