A massive earthquake measuring 7.6 magnitude struck the Philippines’s Mindanao region on Friday. The Philippines authorities have issued a tsunami warning as the quake occurred at a depth of 58 km (36 miles).
As per reports, the Philippine seismology agency has issued a warning for a “destructive tsunami” with “life-threatening wave heights.” Evacuation from coastal areas is underway.
Tsunami alert also issued in parts of Indonesia and Palau. Indonesia issued a warning for North Sulawesi and Papua.
