A “Resident Evil” actor was arrested after he allegedly fired shots during a road rage fight in Galloway Township, New Jersey. Police said the suspect is 46-year-old Ernest W. Heinz from Port Republic, New Jersey. He was arrested on Thursday, September 11, for the attempted homicide of a woman after the road-rage incident turned violent, says Police.

Instead of a mugshot, police shared a professional headshot of Heinz on Facebook. The victim, Arias-Galva, called 911 and said she was shot in the face by a man in another car. She is now stable and recovering in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Police said the suspect fled north onto Vera King Ferris Drive on the Stockton University campus after the shooting, as per the report by Local12.

The gunshot survivor Arias-Galva, described her attacker as a white male with blonde head of tied by hair—in a ponytail—and was in a white Honda SUV. The suspect was later identified by the police and Heinz was nabbed at his Blue Heron Pines residence.

Officers carried out search warrants on multiple houses and vehicles during the investigation. Heinz faces serious charges: Criminal attempt homicide, Aggravated assault with a firearm, and Possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He is now held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, as stated by Local12.

Police Chief Eric B. Hendrickson praised his officers for quickly catching Heinz and wished the victim a speedy recovery. According to The New York Post, Heinz acted in a 2014 short film called “The Soul of Blue Eye” and also provided face models for two Resident Evil games.
