Rock star Rod Stewart’s son Sean was brutalized in Music City as he made his first official boxing outing tonight.
A small crowd in Nashville gathered to watch Misfits Boxing’s ‘Duel’ event, which saw the promotion give opportunities to their newly-signed professionals. They also slid in some celebrity boxing bouts, including one between Sean Stewart and fan favorite streamer BDave.
Stewart was branded a ‘gym warrior’ on commentary by Ben ‘The Bane’ Davis, and reportedly told Misfits he had been training since the age of six. But 39 years later, he was given a dose of reality by the now veteran influencer boxer.
Rod Stewart’s son Sean brutally knocked out within 15 seconds
In a taunting mode, BDave walked to the ring in his adopted hometown to the tune of Sean’s dad Rod Stewart’s hit music. However, he found himself on the back foot early as the 45-year-old pushed the pace and landed some shots of his own.
Ultimately, though, Stewart dropped his hands right in the middle of an exchange and was clipped beautifully by BDave, flopping to the ground and forcing the referee to immediately call the fight. The official time of the stoppage was 15 seconds, marking a second consecutive knockout for BDave.
Stewart’s father was in London for a performance in recent days and as such couldn’t be in Nashville for fight night. It may have been the wise move for the rockstar, who would likely not have wanted to see his son in such a compromising position.
Strangely, throughout fight week Misfits insisted on referring to Sean Stewart as ‘Rod Stewart Son’. And even on commentary they seemed confused as to just how to name the rocker’s eldest son.
