Concordia Hosts Vibrant ELL Summer Program

This summer, Concordia International School Shanghai hosted a vibrant ELL Summer Program that combined language development with hands-on, interdisciplinary learning.

Designed for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5, the program offered small class sizes and personalized instruction, allowing teachers to nurture each child’s growth in English proficiency.

Students explored literacy through engaging science and social studies themes, making learning both meaningful and memorable. Creative projects and classroom discussions encouraged critical thinking and real-world connections.

The program also welcomed incoming Concordia students, helping them adjust to a new environment and build friendships before the school year began.

This thoughtful approach reflects Concordia’s commitment to student care, academic excellence, and holistic learning.


French School Students Head to Top Universities

Shanghai French School is proud to announce that the Class of 2025 is heading to some of the world’s top universities.

All 66 students passed the French Baccalaureate, with every graduate earning honors—an exceptional achievement that reflects the school’s high academic standards.

This year, the graduates are taking on a truly global adventure:

  • 44% will pursue their studies abroad, in destinations such as Canada, the UK, Spain, China, the US, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, and Colombia.

  • 56% will continue their education in France, joining some of the country’s most prestigious institutions.

Their chosen fields of study reflect a wide range of talents and interests, with 42% pursuing Business, Management & Marketing, 18% in Science & Engineering, 13% in Humanities, Law, Political & Social Sciences, 8% in French Preparatory Classes (CPGE), 8% in Art & Design, 8% in Medicine & Veterinary, and 3% in other disciplines.

Shanghai French School congratulates its graduates and celebrates their ambition, curiosity, and excellence as they begin this exciting new chapter.


Britannica’s Outstanding World Languages Program

SAS Juniors Begin College Application Preparation

Last month, Shanghai American School juniors traveled to Qiandaohu for TheEleven, a signature, weeklong college-prep trip that blends admissions workshops, essay writing, and bonding activities.

Led by SAS college counselors and visiting admissions officers from Duke, Northwestern, UCLA, WashU, Savannah College of Art and Design, and the University of Sydney, students gained firsthand insights into the college application process.

Mock admissions exercises helped demystify how decisions are made, while outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking provided a welcome mental reset. 

“TheEleven is a distinctive and unique aspect of the SAS college counseling program and is unparalleled in the international student experience,” shared SAS college counselor Ben O’Brien.

As the Class of 2026 returns to campus for their senior year, they bring with them focus, confidence, and a reminder that their next step is theirs to shape.


Wellington Celebrates Graduations Across Early Years & Primary

Wellington College International Shanghai’s youngest learners have taken their first major academic milestone at the Early Years Centre Graduation.

From their earliest steps to forming their first friendships, these bright sparks have brought endless joy to the school community.

Teachers and parents have cherished watching them grow, and now, they embark on their next adventure with excitement and curiosity as Primary School Year 1 pupils at ‘big school’ on the Main Campus.

The College wishes them a future filled with fun, discovery, and endless possibilities. They have officially earned their wings! 

At Primary School, Wellington celebrated its graduating pupils as they prepared to transition to Secondary School. It has been a remarkable journey of growth, learning, and achievement for these students.

As they move forward, the Wellington community sends them off onward with heartfelt wishes for success as they take on even greater challenges as independent young learners.

Dulwich Pudong Celebrates Another Outstanding Year of IB Results

Dulwich Pudong’s Class of 2025 has achieved an incredible set of results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

With a provisional average score of 37.8 (compared to the global average of 30.6), the students have shown what is possible through hard work, ambition, and a strong support network of teachers and parents.

Among the highlights, 40% of students achieved 40+ points and 23% earned a coveted bilingual diplomaa testament to Dulwich Pudong’s world-class multilingual education.

This year’s cohort continues a strong tradition of excellence, and their success reflects their drive and resilience, and the supportive, academically rich environment that surrounds them.


NAIS Celebrates Exceptional IB Results

NAIS Pudong is celebrating exceptional 2025 IB Diploma results, with graduates achieving an impressive average score of 37 points, significantly surpassing the global average of 30.58. These outstanding results highlight both student dedication and the school’s commitment to academic excellence.

Acceptances include top UK institutions like LSE, UCL, and King’s College London, alongside leading global universities such as MGIMO in Moscow, Middlesex University Dubai, and Raindance Film School. They are seeking globally minded, highly motivated, talented, and creative individuals who demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills.

The scholarship programme has three award categories:

  • The Madam Tsang Chor-hang Memorial Scholarship

  • The Subject and Talent Award

  • The IGCSE/IB/HKDSE Scholarships

Awards cover between 20% and 100% of annual tuition fees, for up to four years, subject to annual review.
