Josephine Decker will reportedly direct the film from the production company behind Nothing Compares documentary

Sinéad O’Connor is reportedly getting the biopic treatment. According to Variety, the production companies IE:Entertainment, Nine Daughters, and See-Saw Films will produce a new movie that tells the story of O’Connor’s early life and career. Josephine Decker will direct the biopic, and Stacey Gregg is penning the screenplay, according to the report.
O’Connor died in 2023 at the age of 56. She was the subject of the documentary Nothing Compares, which was co-produced by IE:Entertainment and released the year before the musician’s death.
