Spider-Man: Brand New Day Teaser: A new short teaser of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth film in Marvel’s superhero franchise, was released by Sony on Friday, August 1, 2025, in an attempt to pique interest in fans. There was a quick close-up of Spider-Man’s new suit in the nine-second teaser. With the caption, “something brand new is coming,” the video was shared. It was released on August 1, on the occasion of National Spider-Man Day. The next film in the MCU, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” won’t be available for another year as it is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 31, 2026.

The new installment officially follows Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

In a brief scene following the conclusion of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Holland is seen swinging through New York City wearing a new outfit that closely resembles the comics’ iconic red-and-blue version.

In an apparent nod to the original Marvel comic style, the “Brand New Day” teaser features a suit with dramatic black outlining and matching crisp colours, as well as faint black webbing.

Entertainment Brand New Day brings back Zendaya, Batalon

Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote the screenplay for the fourth Spider-Man film, which is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Having directed “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” in 2021, Cretton already has MCU experience. Cretton was a good choice for Holland’s web-slinging hero because of the film’s great plot and spectacular kung-fu action.

Key cast members will return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, including Jacob Batalon as Peter Parker’s best buddy Ned Leeds and Zendaya as Parker’s love MJ Jones-Watson.

The cast has some significant new faces. The Punisher, a ruthless vigilante, will be portrayed by Jon Bernthal. He is anticipated to return for Season 2 and a TV special after previously appearing in Season 1 of “Daredevil: Born Again.” Liza Colón-Zayas, Bernthal’s co-star from “The Bear,” is also scheduled to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink. Their roles have not been revealed yet.
