Tata Realty secures ₹1,280 crore green loan from DBS Bank for Gurugram office project

Tata Realty & Infrastructure Ltd has signed a ₹1,280 crore green loan facility with DBS Bank India to fund the development of Intellion Park in Gurugram, the companies announced today. DBS Bank India served as the sole advisor and green loan coordinator for the transaction.

The funds will support construction of a 2.1 million square foot commercial campus comprising four office towers in Haryana. The project incorporates energy-efficient systems, rooftop solar installations, and advanced water recycling technology using membrane bioreactor systems.

The loan facility has been availed through a special purpose vehicle developing the Intellion Park project. The green loan aligns with Tata Realty’s environmental, social and governance objectives, with funds earmarked for assets meeting internationally recognized sustainability standards.

Sanjay Dutt, CEO of Tata Realty & Infrastructure, said the facility sets a benchmark for large-scale green financing in India and reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable commercial assets. Santanu Mitra, head of large corporate banking at DBS Bank India, emphasized the bank’s focus on supporting innovative sustainable projects across the country.

Tata Realty’s office portfolio of 9.4 million square feet across Mumbai, Chennai and Gurugram has earned a 5-star GRESB 2025 rating. The company’s Intellion Park in Chennai previously became India’s first IFC EDGE Zero Carbon certified campus.
