The near freezing temperatures continue to keep Telangana chilly. The lowest of 5.8°C was recorded in Kohir of Sangareddy between Thursday (December 11, 2025) and Friday mornings. People in Hyderabad and the areas in its periphery too experienced the chill as 6.0°C was recorded in Moinabad of Rangareddy, 6.3°C at University of Hyderabad and 7.1°C in Uppal of Medchal Malkajgiri. The minimum temperatures in any district of the State was not more than 11°C. 

The India Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave alert to 12 districts for Thursday; Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Mahbubabad, Jangaon, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy. Though the city and its surroundings were not in the list, they have recorded one of the lowest temperatures in the State.
