‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Manga Ends in One Week

'Tis Time

The end is right around the corner for Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei’s ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess manga. The series first kicked off via Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in April 2019, and the official X (formerly Twitter) account for the manga announced that the next chapter will be its last.

The final chapter launches on August 19.

As of May, ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess has been collected in 17 volumes. It previously inspired a TV anime adaptation, the first season of which aired in January 2024. The second season will follow in January 2026, with Crunchyroll continuing to stream for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia.

An English version of the manga is available via MANGA Plus. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the series:

‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Plot

As the war between the Imperial Army and Hellhorde rages on, the Princess, despite being armed with her mythical sword Excalibur, is captured and imprisoned. What kind of torture does she face at the hands of the chief demon interrogator? Fluffy fresh-baked toast! Hot, steaming ramen! Oh, the humanity! Can the Princess withstand these tormenting treats and keep her kingdom’s secrets safe?
