The Love Island USA season 7 reunion has finally arrived. The explosive conclusion to the show that took over this past summer premiered on Peacock on Monday (Aug. 25).
Nearly all of the cast except booted contestants Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega were present for the reunion to clear up any rumors, address criticism from fans, discuss where their respective friendships and relationships stand today, and so much more.
The two-hour special was full of tears, call-outs, minor crash-outs, apologies, and reflection. Check out the top 5 most memorable moments below and view VIBE’s gallery here.

“You changed after a month?”

Image Credit: Peacock Huda created another meme-worthy moment at the reunion, and we have Andy Cohen to thank.
After reflecting on her countless crashouts which became known as “Hurricane Huda,” the 24-year-old single mom claimed, “I’ve done so much self-reflection and so much work that I can look back on these moments and laugh. Obviously now, I would handle things so differently.”
Andy comically replied, “So, you did a month of self reflection and you’re a different person now?”
Huda fired back, “Obviously, there’s steps to being a better person. I think emotions are really heightened in the villa.” The exchange sparked giggles among some of the cast.

Private vs. Public Apologies

Image Credit: Peacock Olandria called out bombshell Coco Watson for her negative remarks stemming from a podcast interview. Despite being described as “standoffish” by Coco, Olandria truly found an issue with how Coco switched up outside of the villa.
During one interview, she claimed that Olandria was riding hard for Taylor— who by then was coupled up with Clarke. The other Casa Amor bombshells don’t recall her doing so, and Olandria felt it contradicted Coco’s stance on her not being open with the Casa girls. She explained that she would’ve preferred for Coco to speak on her “true experience” and clarified any misconceptions that Olandria was delusional.
Chelley chimed in, noting that it seemed what Coco said on the podcast fed a certain narrative of Olandria. She and Chelley both felt Coco was part of the hate train that tried to paint them as mean girls.
Ultimately, Coco apologized. She tried to do so once before through DM, but Olandria “wasn’t f**king with it” because she believes public disrespect warrants a public apology.

Huda’s Legally-Binding Relationship?

Image Credit: Peacock After speaking about where she and Chris stand today, Huda was asked if she was dating anyone new. She’s been spotted out with Too Hot to Handle‘s Louis Russell and seemingly soft-launched their relationship on TikTok. However, she didn’t confirm or deny any rumors— and blamed Netflix.
“I can’t speak on my relationships outside the villa— for legal reasons,” she explained… and reiterated more than once. “It’s Netflix. I’m not allowed to talk about it.”
Even after both Andy and Ariana tried to pull information out of her, Huda kept all details about her current love life under wraps. To which Andy quipped, “Tell Netflix this was the No. 1 streaming show of the summer.”

Chelley and Olandria address Huda’s lack of accountability

Image Credit: Peacock When it came time to address the bullying narrative, Olandria mentioned that she asked Huda to clarify things on a public platform— since she has the highest social following among the cast. When she didn’t, the lack of action on Huda’s part really made Olandria question the friendship she thought they had.
She asked Huda to make a post calling out racism towards Chelley and Olandria from her fans. Huda, instead, spoke on how she was bullied and without namedropping, fans assumed she was talking about Chelley and Olandria. Yet, in the moment, it added more hate to the latter two, causing Olandria to unfollow Huda online.
Prior to the reunion, the bullying claim wasn’t directly discussed among the women. Huda claimed she never made the post because she was “dealing with so much outside the villa.”
There is no friendship between them as Chelley doesn’t “trust” Huda and both she and Olandria wish her well from a distance.

No, Cierra’s abrupt exit wasn’t captured during Olandria’s confessional

Image Credit: Peacock There was so much controversy surrounding Cierra Ortega leaving the villa. One viral rumor was that she was heard screaming in the background of castmate Olandria’s confessional.
However, producers clarified during the reunion that it was actually a bonding moment behind Iris and Huda. They were scream-singing Selena Gomez’s “Who Says?” in the bathroom. The clip was shown during the tail-end of the episode.
As fans may recall, Cierra was kicked out of the villa due to backlash from her usage of a racial slur.
